Brackenhill Kennels and Cattery

18/07/2026

Hi
Can anyone advise who has been shooting (possibly clay pigeon) this afternoon between sleights and Grosmont along the valley?
We kindly ask that if you can give us (at the kennels) pre warning of any events like this taking place in the future as we do occasionally have dogs in the kennels, like today, that are very afraid of loud noises like this. Just so that we can manage the situation our end.

Many thanks in advance

The Kennel Assistant’s role is to look after the welfare of animals in our care from cleaning, feeding to one to one enrichment be that play time, exercise by walking in the paddock or just a reassuring cuddle.
There is a high degree of cleaning in this role including cleaning the kennels/cat units, exercise runs and general housekeeping of the kennel and cattery environment to a high standard.
