Harvey the hump day horror brought the drama today....in the shape of leatherised deer! He was delighted with his double haul today....finding a second haul after losing the first in the river. Lost the second lot too but still swaggered about triumphant in his bone collecting abilities! Rocco was having nothing to do with Hugo and his zoomies, Harvey's antics or the water and went homing the only one dry and clean! Pedro plodged and fun sponged Hugo's zooms...much to Hugo's delight cos he still thinks Pedro's playing chase. Sizzles got a brief chase off Rocco before bottling it and hitting the floor in submission. Billy was full of himself feeding off Harvey's grave robbing energy. Most gained a shower at Spa Scott's before home.

The rain cleared to give us an absolutely cracking morning to walk in Chopwell woods. The lads were full of beans investigating in the bushes, splashing in the few puddles they could find and sending pee-mails. The leaves are falling and Harvey and Billy are starting to blend in with the orange foliage. Hugo is still chief recycler ♻️ bringing home another bottle. A beautiful walk with the bestest behaved big boys.

A chilly start to the week but perfect for walking in the woods! We took a different path as chosen by Pedro and Sizzles hot footing it up it when they saw 2 big dogs coming the other way....so we detoured to avoid them. Harvey, Hugo and Billy were happy mooching about but Sizzles and Pedro were twitched by a bloke, somewhere in the woods, yelling in what sounded like owl attempts...they weren't happy. Sizzles turned into a flight risk when she saw a pointer heading towards us and backtracked the way we'd just walked. Pedro did his customary standstill when he saw the big dog then he got a wiggle on after Sizzles! We all turned round as it was obvious the 2 littlest of the clan weren't happy to pass the pointer...not made any better by the pointer ignoring her owners efforts to recall and stalking us instead. I peeled off into the trees and thankfully they went back to their van and we continued unstalked but slightly twitched. Made it home before the drizzle started! A nice, if slightly stalked, walk

A boys outing down the derwent to end the week. Much warmer than yesterday but more of the same doggy doings....Pee-mails, spinning, bossing, wombling and water fun.
So windy it blew them almost dry on the way back to the van 😂. Another week done!

Frosty Thursday! First frost of autumn and the lads were loving it! Hugo went off on spins and zooms...Pedro was after him cos how dare the black dog have fun😂, Hugo took it as game on and zoomed some more😂😂. Harvey whizzed about sniffing for anything he could find which thankfully was nothing today😂. Billy biffed about picking the route. The daft lads had a plodge and swim despite it being freezing 🥶 and Pedro was the only sensible one who stayed dry! Fun day Friday tomorrow 🙌

Hedley hall hump day for these guys. No shenanigans of any sort today...no AWOL, no forest feasts and no 💩 rolling!!! We stayed out the water too as it was a bit full and it was nippy today 🥶. Lots of pee-mails checked and sent and a good old mooch about....a highly uneventful walk which was very welcome 😂😂

Tuesday in Hedley Hall woods with Arla bringing the drama 👀😂 by going AWOL for 20 minutes 😱...waaaay longer than previous solo shenanigans and a call for help to find her! I gets 10 mins downhill before getting the happy news she'd arrived back from where she'd legged it!! Came back clean so can only assume a deer scent was involved. Previous to the squeaky bum moment Hugo did some wombling, Billy did some bossing and everyone had a plodge. I returned and waited in the car park for their return to be greeted by Hugo nearly ripping Marks arm out in excitement, Arla using my back as a springboard and Billy looking very puzzled as to why/how I was there 😂. All safely home and away to chemist for some Grecian 2000 to cover our greys 🙈😂😂
