πŸŽƒπŸ° Jack Skellington - The Pumpkin Bun of Halloween Town πŸ°πŸŽƒ

Well, well, well... what's this? What's this? There's a rabbit everywhere! Meet Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King himself, who's ready to hop right out of Halloween Town and into a forever home.

Jack has mastered the art of being the Pumpkin King, but there's one thing missing from his story: a lovely female rabbit to be his Sally. Whether they're sharing hay, flopping side-by-side, or ruling Halloween Town together, Jack is ready to find a bunny best friend for a happily-ever-after worthy of a Tim Burton classic. Because what's this, what's this? A forever home with a bunny wife? Now that's something to sing about!

Say Hello Colin! πŸ‘‹πŸˆ

Colin is a handsome boy who is looking for a very special home as what we call a project cat.

Colin finds the world a bit overwhelming and will need time to build confidence with people. He can be nervous and may hiss when he feels unsure, but this is simply his way of communicating that he needs space – he prefers to stay in his safe spot rather than engage.

He would thrive in a home where he can build trust at his own pace, without any pressure or expectations. An ideal setup might include an insulated outbuilding, stable, barn, or conservatory with direct access to a safe outdoor space, allowing him the freedom to come and go as he pleases while still having a safe place to call home.

Over time, he may choose to become more social and build a bond, or he may remain an independent companion who enjoys sharing space rather than seeking hands-on interaction.

While Colin may not be a typical pet cat, he offers something incredibly rewarding for the right person – watching him feel safer, grow in confidence, and show signs of trust can be very special and meaningful.

An outdoor, smallholding, or farm-style home would suit this charming chap perfectly, giving him the balance of independence and security that he enjoys.

If you'd like to learn more about Colin or discuss whether your home could be the right match for this special boy, we'd love to hear from you. πŸ’™πŸ

Meet our resident greyhounds.

Reenie has been with us since the 28/07/2026. She is a smaller girl weighing 25kg, friendly and loves a snooze after a play session and leisurely potter.

Jimmy has been with us since the 4/08/2026. He is bigger at 34kg, friendly, playful and fuss of mischievousness.

Greyhounds make lovely pets. A lot of people think they need to walk miles and miles but in truth, after a little potter they are happy to relax. Both walk lovely on lead but may pull when seeing quick wildlife run past them.

Could you open your home to Jimmy or Reenie?

When Phoebe arrived at Blue Cross, it was hard to see the puppy underneath. πŸ’”

Found on a caravan site with her sister, Piper, and brought in by a dog warden, Phoebe’s coat was so badly matted that around 85% of her body was covered. She was uncomfortable, frightened and in desperate need of care.

Our team got to work removing the mats carefully, and quickly discovered a six-month-old puppy.

With patience, care and time, Phoebe began to show the happy young dog she really was. And now, she’s found a loving new home of her own.

When Luna arrived in our care, the change in her circumstances left her anxious and struggling to cope. πŸ’”

The lively whippet had come from a busy home where her family felt they couldn't give her the time she needed. Sadly, Luna found the transition to kennel life overwhelming. Being left alone in her kennel was just too much for her to handle.

Determined to help Luna feel safe, our team went above and beyond to make her time in the kennels as positive as possible.

Each day, Luna was encouraged to choose a new toy to take back to her kennel, helping her to build positive associations with her space. The team kept a radio on overnight to comfort her and provided a β€˜destruction box’ filled with treats, giving her an outlet for her anxiety. With enrichment, training, and patience, Luna’s kennel became a place she loved.

Before long, Luna was back to her energetic and silly self, earning her the nickname β€˜Kangaroo’ as she zoomed and bounced around the paddock at full speed.

A family soon fell for Luna’s silly and fun-loving personality, and she’s now thriving in a loving home of her own. πŸ’™

Could you help us give more pets like Luna a second chance?

Every day we see pets come through our doors in need of a second chance, and you can help. By sponsoring a pet, your money goes towards the care and help that these animals need to go on and live the life they deserve. Click the link to find out more. πŸ‘‰ https://bit.ly/4hdEDZN

Boots might be a sensitive boy, but please don't dismiss him.

This gorgeous boy is looking for a calm, patient home where he can build trust at his own pace and form a loving bond.

A soft voice, a few tasty treats, and a hands-off approach are all it takes to help Boots feel safe.

Give him time, and you could discover a very special bond. πŸ‘‰ https://bit.ly/4x909nh

We couldn't believe what poor Sahara and Nevada had been living in together for six months. πŸ’”

Living in a clear box, with barely any space to run or play, and only shallow bedding, these poor girls were long overdue an upgrade.

Since then, they have moved into a gerbil paradise with lots of enrichment, forage, bedding deep enough to make tunnels, and lots of safe places to hide.

After growing in confidence and trust, they were adopted together.

Discover how to care for your gerbil. πŸ‘‰ https://bit.ly/4c5BPeq

Five tiny kittens arrived at our Victoria animal hospital, terrified, shaking and huddled together in a box. πŸ’”

At just five weeks old, Porky, Beatrix, Buddy, Slinky and Dippy were already showing signs of how difficult their short lives had been.

The person who brought them said they had been given the kittens by a friend to sell, leaving us deeply concerned about what they had already experienced.

Porky was in the worst condition, with urine staining and faeces stuck between her paws, while all five would hiss and swipe at anyone who came near.

But with patience, love and time in foster care, their fear began to melt away. Within days, they were confident, playful little kittens.

Now, all five are thriving in loving homes, showing just how much a safe place, expert care and a second chance can change a life. πŸ’™
