We have two lovely ponies to introduce with this post!
First up we have C1 ID Drumgowla Holly who we call ‘Honour’. She is a lovely rising 4 year old mare who we bought from The Murphy Stud over in Ireland. She is an exceptionally bred mare who is the All Ireland Champion! Her sire is Inisfree The Iron Cross C1 ID, standing at in Somerset. Her dam is Priestown Heather C1 ID.

Secondly, we have Combeshead Lady Farmer Rose who we will call ‘Rosie’. She is an enormous chestnut filly foal by Tors Gentleman Farmer. She was born on 18th May. So amongst all our attention being with Captain Scarlet, we haven’t gotten around to introducing her to the world!
We are forever grateful for Bruce and Tegan at for foaling such a big filly safely! We cannot wait to meet her when she comes home!
We cannot thank The Murphy Stud for entrusting us with their gorgeous mare Honour.

Feeling Blessed 🫶🏻

Sending a huge thank you to you all for your kindness and prayers

We are so thankful to be able to let you know that after two bags of plasma and wonderful care from Bruce and Tegan at The Thorpley Rare Breeds Stud and Belvoir Vets Captain Scarlet’s immunity levels are now where they need to be!

Captain Scarlet is alert, well in himself and feeding well. Bruce describes him as ‘drinking like a young farmer in a bar’! Countess is a loving mum and they are both doing well ❤️ We are really looking forward to them both coming back home 🏡 in the next couple of weeks!
Wonderful Vicky will soon be carefully driving them 🚛 both home together like a large box of eggs!
