✂️ Easy Doodle Head Trim | Dog Grooming Tutorial

Struggling to create a balanced, fluffy Doodle head?

This is a simple technique I use to help create shape and balance using clipper comb attachments, before refining the finish with scissors.

It’s especially useful for trainee dog groomers and newer groomers who are still building confidence with their scissor skills — and the technique can be adapted across lots of Poodle mixes including Cockapoos, Cavapoos and Labradoodles.

In this video, I’m demonstrating hand stripping a silky coat, showing how we work with the natural growth of the hair and remove the coat correctly rather than simply cutting it away.
