Sweetest, bravest girl Islay has been a regular with me since I first started, and today was her first day back with me after taking some time for recovery after having her eye removed. It was so lovely to see her again as I have been thinking about her lots. Her mum said although she sometimes forgets she can’t see on one side she has been so stoic throughout her recovery, brave girl!
I personally have had a horse who had to have an eye removed, as has my sister when we were younger, so I completely understand helping an animal to adjust to their new vision. We went slowly with Islay today to make sure she got her bearings and felt safe on the table again, and she did great! ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️
