Based in Backwell, near Bristol, Curious Critters Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre is a vital resource for local wildlife, providing expert rescue, rehabilitation, and care for a wide range of species. 💛

The TLC incubator has made a transformative difference to the centre’s critical care capabilities. Many of the animals admitted are extremely young, injured, dehydrated, or suffering from shock and require carefully controlled warmth, humidity, and a stress-free environment during the most vulnerable stages of their treatment.

"I bought this unit because I rehabilitate infant Cottontail rabbits. Rabbits are one of the most difficult species to rehab, but after purchasing this unit my success rate went up 35%. I am getting ready to purchase more of these. As a board member of the Wildlife Rehabilitator's Association of Massachusetts, I am suggesting that this unit be one of our organization's gifts to new rehabilitator's." ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ https://brinsea.co.uk/small-animal-care/tlc-intensive-care-incubators/tlc-40-advance-series-ii-icu-brooder/ -jump.

Marc, our Sales Director, recently attended the 11th International Parrot Convention (XI Tenerife Parrot Convention), held from 14–17 September at Loro Parque in Tenerife, Canary Islands.

Held just once every four years, the convention is a major international event, bringing together leading veterinarians, biologists, breeders and conservationists to share knowledge and discuss parrot management, breeding and conservation.

Marc gave a breakfast presentation on parrot incubation, sharing some of Brinsea’s 50 years of incubation expertise, before joining our Spanish distributor, Elena, on her exhibition stand. He described the convention as a fantastic opportunity to meet parrot experts and enthusiasts from around the world, exchange ideas and learn more about the important work being carried out in parrot breeding and conservation.

"Rescue centres say they are dealing with a large increase in malnourished hedgehogs, with more expected over the winter." https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvgyr4910y8o courtesy of BBC News.

The RSPCA says the animals are struggling to find food following the recent dry conditions.
