November is Dental Month at Beaconsfield Vets!

Dental problems are very common with approximately 80% of dogs and 70% of cats having some level of dental disease.

Early recognition and regular cleaning are key to preventing more severe dental disease and the effects it has on the rest of the body.

To help with this we are offering complementary dental checks with our nurses where you can get great advice on dental care.

We are also offering discounted dental treatment (see poster) throughout November! Spaces are limited so book soon to avoid disappointment 🐶🐱🦷💗

A lovely event locally this Sunday as part of the " Good Grief Weston" weekend.
"Which creatures have brought you comfort, joy, and connection? How might we honour the animals and wildlife that have mattered to us through writing?"
"Join writer, creative guide, and nature connection producer Beth Calverley for a writing, journaling and sharing workshop celebrating pets, wildlife and nature’s comforting presence. You’ll receive a new journal and use guided prompts to reflect on gratitude and companionship."
"Write and share poems, stories and reflections which celebrate a much-missed pet, an animal best friend, a song thrush singing at dusk and the many other creatures that soothe and delight us."

Last week we had the pleasure of caring for the very beautiful ‘Bella’ 💗

Bella needed some dental work and after completing dental x-rays and examining the teeth, Vet Sophie knew exactly which teeth needed to be extracted.

Bella was a super patient and got plenty of TLC from our lovely degree student nurse Niki throughout her visit 🥰

Our Dental Discount offer will be back in November so please ask our friendly staff for more information 🦷

Say hello to gorgeous ‘Charlie’ who came in earlier this week for neutering.

Charlie is pictured during his recovery and he was such a purring boy! He even woke up from his procedure making biscuits with his paws 😻
