We are a friendly 3 vet small animal practice which is close to Tesco and the Town Hall. Our aim is to provide an excellent veterinary service at a reasonable price in a caring, friendly atmosphere. We are open all day on Saturdays including for routine operations

**UPDATE OWNER FOUND many thanks-**

Very sadly a deceased cat has been brought into the practice. Found in Grove Park road. Black short hair neutered male with a small white patch on the throat. No collar but does have a microchip.

Dental procedures for pets is expensive, however, there is a lot of skill, hard work, patience and time that goes into ensuring your pet's teeth are healthy.

🦷🦷 DENTAL MONTH 🦷🦷

Throughout June we're having special discounts on dental procedures with 25% off dental packages and 10% off extraction times.

If you'd like to book your dog or cat in for a dental procedure next month, call the surgery on 01934 624608.

There is limited availability and dental month is always a popular time.

Included are also two routine post operative checks and a home dental care check with one of our nurses, pre operative blood sampling (so we can check liver and kidney levels prior to an anaesthetic) and dental x-rays.

Gorgeous kitten ‘Lizzy’ came in for her 2nd vaccination this week 💗

She enjoyed some tasty cat yoghurt whilst she had her injection so she didn’t notice 😊

Yesterday we saw the beautiful Ozzy for a castration. He is a lovely and sweet rabbit and came in today for a post operative check with one of our nurses.

This is Ozzy today! Very bright, loving his food and his donut toy! We are very happy with Ozzy's recovery.

We always like to see our rabbits the next day, after they have had a procedure. This is so that we can make sure they are eating enough and going to the toilet, ensuring that they don't get something called gut stasis. Gut stasis is where the intestines stop pushing and moving food as effectively as normal, which can result in a poorly rabbit that needs urgent veterinary care.

We have had an older male Jack Russell terrier tan and white brought in who was found straying near Uphill cafe.
He is microchipped but details out of date.
