Big departure day at The Dog Family WSM - The super six 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕

Firstly Chase who sits in front of everything - cupboards you want to open, the dishwasher, the fridge, wherever you want to hoover and has been so caring taking some of our younger guests very much under his paw 🐾❤️ ….. And are you still wondering how that broom got there? 😜😂

Secondly saw LOVELY LOVELY Lucy leave the building. She is 15 and a half (the half is very important). She maybe slightly blind and a tad deaf but the is absolutely nothing wrong with her nose - she is queen dinner monitor checking everyone has finished and will happily help out if not! 🍱 Enjoying her plods and super pleased to be reunited with kristy's pet services for a stroll ❤️🐾

Our mid afternoon departure after a trip to Congresbury was the another lady of the group, equally outnumbered by boys - Honey 🍯. She has made me smile a lot this week, she’s kind, she’s beautiful, she loves water, she loves the sofa and she has been the best company ever ❤️🐕🐾

Peter Rabbit was next to be collected by the lovely Blackberry Dog Walkers. Peter developed a beautiful bond with Chase and is by far his number one fan - he even followed him into the water 💧 A beautiful boy wanting to give his heart to everyone 💙🐾

Mikey was next after a short but very active stay. Another kind and very loving boy who wants to say hello to everyone. He has loved the company and his massive climb to Wavering Down….. He did leave the giant troughs to the others and I don’t blame him 😜⭐️

And last to leave our Bills Bob who was a little between houses - popping back to grandma in the middle of his stay! Billy is fab, he knows the drill and first job on the list is always finding the best bed 🛌. A big family favourite 💙🐕🙌

Oh and a couple of walkers joined us today - Boz who needs more catching training and Skylar who wanted to remind me she LOVES mud!

And now to close our doors for a couple of weeks but we will be back all refreshed and ready to go again🚪

Wisp has been back - and what a week! 🐾🐕💙

Reunited with many an old friend he has played, he has run, he has sung (a lot! 🎶) he has been totally in his element. He has also searched out the best laps forgetting he is not a Jack Russell 😜

5 walk Boz - A walk everyday in a different location and loving every minute especially when he led the naughty retrievers Ralphie and Holly R astray and down to the beach 🏖️

Have I said before that Skylar loves the water? Almost as much as she loves balls? But maybe not as much as she loves Mud! 🎾

You can always rely on Ottie to get the game if Chase started - and again she didn’t disappoint!

Buddy desperately tried not to fall into the water, as did Holly V who was not leaving that old football bobbing about ⚽️

Miss Mills I believe would happily have stayed all day in the chair ❤️🐕

Little Nells was over the moon that her walk was not in the woods due to the lower temperature 🙌

Mr Cool Wallace modeled the towel robe after being caught in THAT downpour. ☔️

And Rosie found her double in one of our boarding guests - and their owners quickly pointed out ‘The Golden Girls’ 😜

I don’t think any of my guests have winked at me before but Monty has mastered it! He’s such a daft softy you can’t help...

He’s such a daft softy you can’t help but love him, fabulous company and always up for some fuss 🥰 ………. Which he always got apart from when he took part in the rolling in muck pastime and cuddling was well and truly off the agenda 😜💙🐾🐕

Beautiful Orla, shockingly taken from us far too soon and far too quickly - it’s hard to believe she was bouncing through the waves with her team just a few days before falling ill 😢

I loved picking Orla up she would appear all sleepy eyes as though I’d rudely woken her but her contagious smile would appear and remain plastered across her face throughout every walk.

So very popular within the groups, she was always well behaved (we won’t mention the swan 🦢 incident 😜) although sometimes she couldn’t resist and the retriever mud magnet trait - goodness did I try my best to dry and clean her before returning her home 🏡

I will miss our one to one time in the van when she sat up front and gently patted me for more fuss (changing gear was less important of course)

Absolutely heartbroken 💔- I know for sure wherever you are you will be making everyone smile.

Our only chocolate Labrador (which makes him extra special 💙) - Chester!

We haven’t seen him for a while and his last overnight stay was cancelled due to a bout of reverse sneezing 🤧 😢, I’m super glad we could fit him in for a socialisation session ahead of his planned stay 🏖️

Reunited with some of his old favs and a few new faces it was clear there is no problems with his memory as he settled right back in!

Seems he had also learnt the love of water since his last visit 💦💦💦💧🏊‍♂️

Won’t be long till this handsome boy and his bow ties return 🙌

A big welcome return to Skylar whose toe is on the mend - she was as delighted as we were that she was back ❤️🐕🙌 Even more so when we treated her to an early beat the heat and catch the high tide walk 🌊 ……. Hugo was equally surprised with the early daycare pick up - all worth it!

Another welcome to our new girl - Margot, so very sweet and at the moment a tad shy but Little Nells made her feel at home and we look forward to see how she grows in the pack 💪🐾❤️

The love affair that is Buddy and Ottie continues - they just want to be together and squeezed themselves into a single van crate. Unlike Boris or Holly V that will not use a crate and do not like sharing the cab seat 🚐. Luckily Miss M wasn’t with us that day as we would have had to pull straws for the top spot!

A few Labrador faces we haven’t seen in a while popped in for some ad hoc daycare - Firstly our duo Bobby & Mabel (Bobby was ever so pleased to find many Mabel sitters meaning after his walks he could find a quiet space to snooze 💤) and then the one and only Poppy - the reason I decided to board dogs under 1 year old ❤️🙌 I was so pleased that I could introduce her to fellow Lab Olive, although a different coloured coat they wiggle the same, dance the same excited dance and are both ball obsessed 🎾

Reggie made a lovely new friend in my niece - they were inseparable ❤️👧🐕

Reggie the 2nd, Middle Nells and Rubes all bounded around the woods without a glance at the camera - although Reggie displayed his modeling skills when later perched on a chair 🐾

I will see you lot very soon ⏳

No need for an introduction - Both familiar faces to The Dog Family WSM and kristy's pet services - Betty and Nellie ❤️❤️

Betty has had a holiday here before but not with younger sister Nellie, so it was important to check the sleeping dynamics have not changed for any future stays.

I’m pleased to report both slept soundly and were ready for the fun and games this morning before getting a taxi to Kristy’s for the remainder of their adventures 💪🐕🐕

We love this girl and always look forward to her visits - she’s feisty, she’s scatty, she’s super sweet and fits in perfectly with everything Dog Family 🙌🐾🐕❤️
