WHAT... another birthday at the gentle paws club?! 😳 Happy 1st Birthday to our gorgeous Theo! 🥳🥳

Theo holds such a special place in my heart because he was one of the very first few clients to join me when I started Georgia’s Gentle Paws Club. Watching my little business grow alongside this incredible boy has been such a privilege, and I’ll always be so grateful that his wonderful family trusted me with him, even when I had just started out🥹

Over the past 7 months, I’ve had the pleasure of watching him grow, helping guide him through his puppy training, and seeing him blossom from a cheeky little lad into such a handsome young man.

The difference between the Theo I first started walking and the Theo we see today is incredible. He’s learnt so much, his confidence has grown massively, his manners have come on leaps and bounds, and he’s become such a joy to have by my side on our adventures. He’s clever, affectionate, full of character, and never fails to make me smile.

Theo, you truly are one in a million and such an important part of the Gentle Paws family. Everyone absolutely adores you, and I can’t wait to make even more memories together over the years to come.

We hope you’ve been thoroughly spoiled with lots of treats, cuddles, toys, and birthday fun (which I know you will have). Also a massive thank you to Theo's owner's who have gone out of their way to get me such a beautiful card from Theo. I will forever keep this as a keepsake now♥️

Just look at these beautiful snapshots we’ve captured of Marley whilst pet sitting him for the week! 🥹🥰

Marley is a super energetic Cocker Spaniel who absolutely loves burning off all that classic spaniel energy. Luckily for him, I’m about 100mph myself, so we were the perfect match!🐾

This was Marley’s owners’ very first time going away without him, so understandably they were feeling quite nervous and wanted to make sure he was in the very best hands. Well… I think it’s safe to say we’ve all had an absolute blast, so much so we’ve completely worn each other out! 🤣

It’s been such a pleasure having you in our care, Marley♥️Thank you for making us laugh every single day with your cheeky personality and endless enthusiasm. We can’t wait to welcome you back for more adventures in the future!

Is there seriously anything better than meeting a brand new puppy?!!!🥹

Today I had the absolute pleasure of doing a house visit for little Nellie, who’s only 9 weeks old! 🥰 Her lovely owners couldn’t get the day off work, so I stepped in to keep her company and make sure she had everything she needed.

We changed her puppy pads, topped up her fresh water, had lots of fun playing in the garden, and celebrated with plenty of praise when she did a wee outside on the grass - what a clever girl she is already! 👏

Of course, there were lots of cuddles, kisses and playtime before I left, and she finished her visit with a yummy lick mat as a little treat.🩷

I’m not going to lie… it was incredibly hard to leave a face that cute😍 But the good news is I’ll be seeing you again next week, Nellie, and hopefully when you’re old enough to join us on your adventures and walks. I can’t wait! 🐶✨

I had the pleasure of pet sitting Dusty Duck 🦆 again this weekend whilst her owner enjoyed their own holiday and what a time we had!!

Dusty loves to go swimming, so we packed up the car this weekend and travelled to the Yorkshire Dales, where it was much cooler than being in the city, so she could enjoy an adventurous day out whilst being in our care♥️

From countryside breezy walks to swimming together in the river💦it couldn't have been any more perfect🥹

Was so lovely to have you again Dusty, and thank you for giving me such a fun loving weekend!🐾

Watching dogs gain the confidence to enjoy true freedom will never get old🤍🤍

This is Bear. A German Shepherd who started walking with us as a puppy. When he first joined, his recall was very limited, so instead of rushing things, we went right back to basics!

We started with a long line and his favourite ball, making coming back the most rewarding part of the game. Once Bear was consistently choosing to come back, we progressed to removing the longline and slowly built his reliability step by step.

Fast forward to now, and seeing him sprint back the moment he’s called is something I’m so proud of🥹

Recall isn’t about expecting perfection overnight - it’s about building trust, consistency, and making your dog want to choose you every single time!

Now Bear gets to enjoy what every dog deserves… the freedom to run, explore, and just be a dog, safely🕊️🤍

🐾 A few of our favourite snaps from last week’s pack and solo adventures with our lovely members!

It was so nice to have some cooler weather for a change. The dogs could really make the most of their walks and just being the free little souls they were born to be🕊️

Unfortunately, it looks like the temperatures are set to climb again this week and possibly into next week too. 😰 As always, this means we may need to make some adjustments and temporarily pause our adventure walks.

I know how much we all love these walks (myself included!), but your dogs’ safety and wellbeing will always come first♥️
For now though… enjoy some happy snaps of the gang living their best lives! 🐾🥰

🥳It’s our big boy Bear’s birthday today… and he’s a whopping 1 years old! 🎉

We started walking Bear when he was just a spring chicken🐥, teaching him recall and helping him find his feet in the big wide world.

Back then, our adventures involved a long line, a ball and plenty of treats!! Fast forward to today and just look at him now…😍 Thriving from his owners dedication!

Bear stole my heart from the very first day I met him! Every time we see one another, he squeals, I squeal back out of excitement and I couldn’t feel luckier to have played a small part in helping shape Bear into the handsome young man he is becoming🥰

Have the best birthday ever!! And a big happy day to Lucy too for surviving the puppy stage so far and for raising such a wonderful boy ♥️🐾

Given this week was almost a complete wipeout due to the heatwave, with very little work able to go ahead, here are some lovely photos from last week’s walks and visits to brighten the feed 🐶🐾

Being a dog walker and doing this as your full-time job can be incredibly challenging at times. In winter, we’re battling freezing temperatures, rain, mud, wet dogs, and the endless cycle of drying paws and cleaning coats while wishing for sunnier days to arrive🥶❄️

But when the sunshine finally comes, it brings a different challenge altogether.☀️ Rising temperatures can quickly become dangerous for dogs, and their safety will always come before anything else.🐶 Sometimes that means cancelled walks, altered schedules, and difficult decisions that have a real impact on small businesses like ours.

Despite the challenges that come with every season, there is nothing I’d rather be doing. The love I have for your dogs, the bonds we build, and the privilege of spending my days out in nature alongside so many wonderful four-legged friends makes it all worthwhile♥️♥️
