āØTwo beautiful new fluffy members have recently joined the Gentle Paws Club - Meet Beau & SullyāØ
Anyone who knows me knows that Pomeranians are one of my absolute favourite breedsā¦ and seeing as I have two of my own, I might be slightly biased and a little overexcited that these gorgeous boys have joined the club! š¤
Beau is Sullyās big brother, and Sully is still just a puppy. When they first started walking with me a couple of weeks ago, neither of them was particularly keen on heading out, especially with someone new. Even getting them out of the front door was a challenge, as they were understandably nervous.
Since then, weāve been taking things at their own pace, focusing on building trust and confidence. Every walk is full of encouragement, engagement, plenty of sniffing opportunities, exploring new places, and making the outdoors a fun, positive experience.
The transformation in Beau has been incredible already! His owner has even commented on how excited he now gets, running to the door ready for his walks which he never did previous!!š
Sully is making fantastic progress too. As heās still just a pup, everything is new (and sometimes a little scary!), so weāre simply helping him discover the big wide world one step at a time - When we first met, his owner often had to carry him, but now, with lots of patience, encouragement and reassurance, heās happily walking on his own and improving with every single outingš„¹š¾
Confidence canāt be rushed, and with consistency, patience and positive experiences, itās so rewarding to watch dogs blossom. I have no doubt these two will soon be proper little adventure Pomsā¦ just like my own! š„°š¾
