I have been absolutely blown away by Malcolm's resilience. His breathing is slowly improving ... he no longer squeaks when he breathes. In fact today he is quite feisty trying to get out of his hutch. Eating has been difficult with such terrible breathing but we are getting there. Go Malcolm! ❤️🦔❤️

The entire team at Whiteley Village Vets are amazing with our prickly pals but when we saw these nominations, Katie was first to spring to mind.

Her compassion and dedication to wildlife is beyond words. She has been instrumental in helping so many pricklies - even this past week, Elaine and Claire were busy assisting and guiding her with treatment for Malcolm's mites and breathing via nebulisation before he was stable enough to come to us.

We are so proud of Katie and the rest of the team for their approach to wildlife care.

Thank you so much Sara for the biccies. Steve is particularly delighted 🤣❤️🦔❤️
