This is lovely Glen...chilled out after his massage & a poster boy this summer for the RNLI...isn't he a handsome fella 🥰
It's a privilege to work with all dogs but always feels that extra bit special treating the golden oldies and Glen is a couple of months off being 15 years 😍

Glen's neck was stiff and he wasnt able to look up which cant be pleasant when us humans are all so much taller. He was stumbling on his walks round the fields, then one morning he fell flat on his face, which upset both Glen and his wonderful guardians 😔
A couple of gentle massage sessions quickly improved his neck movement and now he's enjoying his walks again with more confidence and no more falling flat on that handsome face! 🐶

TTouch Taster Evening - Supporting the Body & Mind of Active Dogs 🐶

Sometimes an activity begins long before our dog enters the ring, starts the trail or takes their turn.

They recognise the car park, hear other dogs, spot the equipment—and their anticipation begins to rise.

That excitement can be a wonderful part of doing something they love. But if excitement, worry or stimulation becomes too much, it can be harder for them to process information, stay connected and make thoughtful choices.

This isn’t necessarily disobedience or a need for more training. Sometimes a dog simply needs help to feel settled enough to think and learn.

And it isn’t only our dogs who may feel the anticipation. We might arrive with butterflies, excitement or nerves of our own—especially before a competition or event that matters to us. Our breathing, posture and movement may change, and our dogs can notice those small differences.

Taking a moment to settle ourselves can help us offer the clear, steady support our dogs need. 🌿

Calm doesn’t mean switched off.

We don’t want to take away our dogs’ joy or enthusiasm. We simply want to help them remain comfortable, connected and calm enough to think. 💚

Tellington TTouch® offers gentle ways to support body awareness, reduce tension and help dogs return to a more balanced state.

At the upcoming TTouch Taster Evening, we’ll explore practical ideas that may help before an activity, while waiting for a turn and afterwards. You’ll also learn a simple TTouch Heart Hug to use for yourself, supporting both ends of the lead.

Say hello to gentle girl Hetty 🥰
Hettys hind leg was looking weak when climbing the stairs...it'd lost some of it's thrust ....and when you live in an upside house & your living accommodation is on the first floor, it was essential to get her moving better & hekp prevent her stumbling.
Identified a strain in her gracilis muscle, sore hip flexors and discomfort in her back. A couple of massage sessions later & she had regained the spring in her hind legs and comfort restored in her back.

Her guardians also noted Hetty was jumping in the car more easily & turning on the stairs....something she hadn't done in a long time 🤗
Heat therapy was introduced to help the healing process along & her wonderful humans have kept up the heat treatment which she loves...lucky lady receives a monthly massage too 😍

Sorry I've been rubbish at posting...it's been a while!
And it's been a while since seeing this handsome fella Jack, who just celebrated his 13th birthday 🎂🥳
Jack loves his toys & unwrapping his birthday pressies. His toy box is very big! 😁
Massage sessions with Jack involve 5 mins of massage, retrieving another toy, maybe pull an arm or leg off 😂 and repeat.

Jack is in amazing shape despite an arthritic knee, so i dont need to see him often. Massage resolves his few muscular niggles & helps to keep him feeling & moving great! 🙌

In our last massage session i worked on Rhubarbs Hamstrings...and now she's faster than ever and earned herself a new title... Rhubarb the Rocket! 😆

Spaced out Bertie 😍
Picture the scene...curtains closed, low lighting, calming music, and the aroma of relaxing essential oils. Only thing missing is cucumbers on his eyes... 😂

Getting the environment & a specific warm up routine just right, has made a big difference to helping Bertie learn how to switch off.
He's now so relaxed even the sound of the postman barely raises an ear twitch & i have to bribe him with a yummy treat to get my massage table back! 😊
