Last but no means least meet our newest member of our male trio Mr fox. His story is somewhat more of a heartbreaker!! So from what we can gather he was found as a cub this person kept him as a "pet" but also had him snipped young. For some reason or another they gave him up so he went to a lovely couple who keep silver foxes! However they soon realised his issues and fear was in need of something more. Thankfully they chose us to help this poor boy. His extreme fear is likely due to having had the snip to soon and so he didn't get the surge of testosterone to give him the confidence and ability to regulate stress. As a result he was suffering with intense fear and anxiety. However since we have introduced him to Indi and Neuro his seems to follow Neuros lead and be gaining some level of confidence to function properly from neuro!! So we are very very hopeful this will be the help and reassurance this poor baby needs to see him have a better quality of life! And a life he can enjoy with the other boys♥️ 🤞fingers crossed 🤞 for this handsome boy that he can find the safety and reassurance he so desperately needs♥️

Meet Neuro he came to us along with Indi! Whilst he has his eyes and yes he can see to a certain extent it seems once things are up close he can not see clearly!! Despite vet intervention we are not certain what exactly is causing this! But Look how grey that fur on his back is!! ♥️ Isn't he stunning!! He is abit more flighty and less social then Indi but beautiful all the same!! He will also be a permanent resident here at A Furry Tail living with Indi and another red male Mr fox!

Before you ask yes he has straw and shavings and yes they also have bedding options but apparently they are not the the same quality as the wood hides floor! 🤣🤦‍♀️ It is a forever ongoing war between us!! So we put it in they take it out! 🤣 It goes everywhere but where it should be including outside the enclosure!!

Meet our absolutely gorgeous young man Indi he came to us as an older cub. It was clear from the off set he was a very special boy. As you can see Indi has a congenital defect which has resulted in his eyeballs being much to small for his sockets! He will have been born like this likely due to mum having been poorly or had an infection whilst pregnant!! Indi has beaten all the odds to have survived long enough to be brought into rescue already at several weeks old!! Whilst yes he is completely blind he navigates his enclosure Amazingly well!! He finds his food and water on his own even plays with the others and with his toys!! He can climb, use the hides and navigate with absolutely insane precision!! So after a few vet trips to ensure no pain or ongoing issues we are confident to go ahead and keep him here with us as a permanent resident at a furrytail ♥️ how incredibly lucky are we to get to look after such an incredibly handsome and charming boy!! ♥️

Rude? People want to call admin or rehabbers rude?? No!!
What is rude is having 3hours sleep only to come on here or our other rescue groups to tell so called adults how to behave, to deal with no end of hate, abuse and unrealistic expectations.

What is rude is to expect us rehabbing to drop everything to come to your whim or demands.

What is rude is demanding we come and collect animals because you don't want to arrange taking them to get help. Then being abusive when you are told no.

What is rude is the constant ignorance of the rules or requests of admin that are there to keep you and the animals safe!!

What is rude is Fairweather "rehabbers" who pick and choose and complain no end then kick off when you aren't asked again in future. Or get to 12weeks and expect us to re-home them because suddenly it's not convenient or you can't cope.

You call us rude when we work absolutely insane hours, put up with no end of abuse and hate. For helping animals who are suffering because people didn't listen! Day in day out people won't cooperate or think they know best or can do our jobs better?

I PROMISE YOU YOU WOULD NOT LAST A WEEK!! we deal with dozens of cases every single day. Put up with no end of issues and then you have the audacity to call us rude!!! If you can't handle the truth, rules or the fact we as admin know what we are talking about by all means use the door.

Ummmm well the wildlife is certainly going BOOM and off the walls with the weather!! Please if you can help support us in anyway be it our wishlist or a donation we need you all!! We are undertaking a 400mile round Trip to pick him up! The owners have unfortunately surrendered him to us as they can no longer provide for him. Help us save this beautiful boy!!

Audrey fox is our oldest resident at an incredible 14 maybe even 15 years old!!!! She came to us after her sanctuary unfortunately was closed down when the owner passed away💔. Despite our fears moving her at such an amazing age she took it in her stride and has been doing fantastically since she joined us! (About a year now!!)

She still puts the other vixens in their place, hunts and LOVES her green ball!! She loves her naps and removes any straw from anywhere!! She clearly has been teaching the other vixens a thing or two!! We may not be a huge chapter in Audrey's story but what an absolute privilege it is to share in her story! ♥️🦊♥️

Excuse me Mr acrobat whilst I am so proud you hid from the human as you should, could you not have found a safer or better place?? Yes this fox is happy hiding 6ft up behind the door for the inside enclosed area!!! Never underestimate foxes!! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
