🐾 UPDATE ON OUR FOUND KITTY 🐾

We would like to share a little update on this gorgeous girl 🐈‍⬛

Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we haven’t yet been able to reunite her with her owner. However, we are delighted that she has now gone to a fabulous interim home at Feline Care where she’ll be safe, warm and very well cared for💕🏡 🐈‍⬛

A huge thank you to Feline Care for their kindness, support and dedication to helping cats in need. Your help makes such a difference! 🐾❤️

If this little ball of fluff did have an owner we are keeping our fingers crossed that this little one’s owner can still be found 🤞

Please continue to share her story to help us to locate her owner 💜

🌟 Beware of Sugar-Free Sweets! 🌟

Did you know that some sugar-free sweets and chewing gums contain xylitol, a sweetener that is extremely toxic to dogs, even in very small amounts?

⚠️ Always check ingredient labels.
⚠️ Keep sweets and chewing gum out of reach.
⚠️ Dispose of wrappers carefully and don't leave them on the floor.

If you think your dog may have eaten a product containing xylitol, contact the Knotts Yard team immediately on 01953 889750

🐶 A little prevention can make a big difference to your pet's safety.

🌟 Don't Forget - The Clocks Are Changing this weekend🕒

The UK clock change can be confusing for our pets, especially those who thrive on a regular routine. Changes to feeding times, walks, and bedtime can leave some pets feeling unsettled or anxious.

✅ Help your pet adjust smoothly by:
🐶 Starting around a week before the clocks change
🍽️ Moving feeding times by 10-15 minutes each day
🚶 Gradually adjusting walk times
🛏️ Shifting bedtimes slowly to match the new schedule
🧩 Providing mental stimulation and calming activities to reduce anxiety

Just like us, pets can take a few days to adapt to the time change, so be patient and keep routines as consistent as possible.

🌟If you're concerned about your pet's behaviour or anxiety levels, our team is always happy to help.🌟

🌟Rat and mouse bait🌟
As the weather cools, more rodent bait gets put down in homes, sheds and gardens. It can be very harmful if eaten, so place it where pets can't reach and keep an eye out on walks.

Signs of poisoning
Anticoagulant effects typically appear 3–7 days after ingestion:

✅Lethargy and weakness
✅Pale or white gums
✅Coughing or difficulty breathing (bleeding into chest)
✅Blood in urine, faeces, or vomit
✅Nosebleeds or bleeding from gums
✅Bruising on skin or belly
✅Collapse or sudden death

Because signs are delayed, never wait to see if your pet is okay.
If you are at all concerned please contact the Knotts Yard team on 01953 889750
