It’s taken me a few days to try and find the words to say to honour this little pup. On Monday we unexpectedly lost a beloved member of the Pack, Mr Monty Moo! Monty was such a delightful dog and every dog and person who met him, loved him! He waddled always beside me to the beat of his own drum, sometimes zooming off in unexpected and lightening speed if he decided to change his course of direction! ( usually in the direction of the van!) and always greeted me with loudest of excited barks when ever I collected him. I was blessed (and I say blessed as it truly was a privilege and honour) to be with him and his wonderful person, (his whole world, Natalie) when he crossed over over that rainbow bridge, I was honoured to be able to kiss him goodbye, thank him for choosing me as his walker sharing his days with me, trusting me, and loving me as I did him. I thanked him for everything and told him he was such a good boy, as he really was. I got to tuck him in his blanket all snug as a bug. And tell him I’ll miss him, that we’ll all miss him, boy do I miss him, the days just don’t feel the same already and I know that I’ll miss him everyday. He’ll forever be in my heart and will forever have a piece of my heart with him. Everyone who knew and loved Monty will miss him, no one more so than his wonderful owner Natalie and his little family, I’ve never seen a more cherished and adored dog. Run free over the rainbow bridge beautiful boy. 🐾 🌈
