Whilst praying for the rains to come soon, we are reminded of how rain clouds are described by Śrīla Prabhupāda in the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam👇🏽

“When water is urgently needed after the summer season, the clouds are just like a rich man who, in times of need, distributes his money even by exhausting his whole treasury. So the clouds exhaust themselves by distributing water all over the surface of the globe. Distressed to see the condition of the earth, the clouds tremble in the wind like a compassionate person. Thus they pour down their rain.“

Yesterday was a beautiful reminder of Srila Prabhupada’s vision in action. 💚

Beginning with a puja, we followed Sri Sri Radha Gokulananda across the fields to our agriculture plot, where this year’s harvest was lovingly offered back to Krishna.

What looked like baskets of fresh vegetables was actually months of devotional service made visible. Every seed planted. Every wheelbarrow pushed. Every bucket carried. Every w**d pulled out. Every quiet act of service offered with love.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday’s festivities possible. May we continue to protect cows, cultivate the land, and serve Srila Prabhupada’s vision here at Bhaktivedanta Manor!
