Time for an update ❤️🔥
We are busy as ever with some really lovely horses right now.
🤎 Apollo - looking for a new home, 15.3hh 12yr old warmblood gelding. I am having great fun with this guy, he’s what I would call a workaholic, loves his job, loves to jump, schools fabulous (albeit you need good abs to sit his fabulous movement) will make someone a seriously nice horse. Fit and ready to go, jumped to fox and competed BE.
🧡 Jade - looking for a new home, 17.1hh 12yr old dressage bred mare. Jade is a fabulous horse, she simply has the nicest of natures. She wants to be your best friend and is the type that would do anything for her rider. She’s had a career in dressage but has now started jumping and will make a fabulous allrounder. Would suit a lot of people and make someone a horse of a lifetime.
🤎 Fletcher - recently returned home after coming to meadowhead to be brought back into work and will potentially be looking for a wee jockey/loan. 12hh 7yr old gelding, very flashy, moves very well, would excel in the show ring, easily ridden by our little Lucy. If anyone has a small but capable rider let us know and details can be passed on.
🤍🖤Oreo - here for some schooling, his family are on a lovely cruise and this boy is learning what riding in an arena is all about. He’s been here just over a week and is already schooling walk trot and canter, going over poles and little jumps.
🤎 Nasso - under assessment, he lives here at meadowhead so not much assessment required but his mum has kindly given me the ride of him to have a bit of fun until we find him the perfect home. 16.1hh 7yr old by ‘I’m special de muse” jumped to fox, schools lovely, hacks well. Another very nice horse. He’s blood he’s quidam lines and he’s got an engine so won’t suit a beginner but a capable teen or an adult wanting a quality horse would be ideal.
🧡 Murphy - this wee man is our first Kerry bog pony to break and what a cool wee dude he is. He’s been here a week and he’s lunging, long reining, hacking alone and in company and walk/trotting in the arena! He’s also being broken bitless!
🤍🖤 Bob - not much to say about Bob 😂 he lived with us for years, he’s back on holiday livery, he’s already escaped and given us all the run around as he indulged on the best of grass, we are hoping to get some weight off him but so far Bob - 1 Catriona - 0
🤎🤍 Dexter - this young horse is here for a bit of schooling, having done loads of hacking he loves being out and about in the countryside but schooling wasn’t really his thing…. Well until he found jumping! He is LOVING jumping, he’s having great fun and enjoying every minute of it
