Out with the old, in with the new! 🐾

The new A-frame is officially up at Four Acres and ready for some muddy paws!

It’s the first little update as we give some of our field equipment a bit of TLC over the coming months.

We hope the dogs approve!

And just like that, August is done!! ☀️

What a summer it’s been so far (we’re not ready to let go just yet!).

The weather has been wonderful and outrageous all in one go, but a little bit of welcome rain is already seeing some green return to the fields.

We’ve had to say goodbye to the pools a few weeks earlier than we’d hoped. The extreme warm weather has particularly taken its toll, and they’re now in need of a little TLC!

Here’s hoping September has a little more summer left in store for us.

🐾 Hoe Cross Hounds Summer Competition — The Results! 🐾

What a lovely competition this has been! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who entered and voted in our Hoe Cross Hounds Summer Competition. We’ve absolutely loved seeing all your photos and videos and, most of all, seeing so many happy dogs enjoying their time at Hoe Cross Fields.

Our entries have included everyone from gorgeous little puppies just starting their adventures, through to much-loved older friends — including some very special dogs who are sadly no longer with us. We feel incredibly privileged that they’re part of our Hoe Cross Hounds reel and the memories we’ve made together. 🐶❤️

And now for the results… 🥁

🏆 Our winner, with an amazing 29 votes, is Fi Kingsley!

We also had a very worthy runner-up, so we’ve decided there really ought to be another prize…

🥈 Tiff Hardy, with 23 votes, will receive a half-price session at Hoe Cross Fields!

Congratulations to you both! 🎉 We’ll contact you directly before the end of today with details of your prizes.

And finally, thank you to every single person who entered. We hope you enjoy this reel as much as we’ve enjoyed putting it together. There are an awful lot of happy Hoe Cross Hounds in here! 🐾

Here’s to many more adventures at Hoe Cross Fields. 🐕🌿

2026 - the year we nearly drowned from the constant rain and then had a drought. 🤷‍♀️

🚭Another reminder - Please do not smoke in our fields. 🚭

Unfortunately these cigarette butts and v**e were found in Four Acres during the 9am session yesterday 😭

Our fields are strictly no smoking 🚭 and this rule is there for a very valid reason.

As recently posted, not only do they potentially cause serious harm to visiting dogs if they are eaten but are also a huge fire risk in our currently very dry fields.

Anyone found to be smoking will be banned from using our fields.

Thank you again to the vast majority of Hoe Cross users who do abide by the simple rules we have in place and also help by picking up after others.
