Hello and welcome to Mutts & Me Dog Sitting🐾
I thought I should probably start with introducing myself and explaining a little bit about what Mutts & Me is all about.
I’m Beth, and from October 2026, I’ll be offering in-home pet sitting across Washington, Sunderland and the surrounding areas.
Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and anyone who knows me will know just how much I love them. I’m definitely the kind of person who greets the dog before the person.
So when the idea of Mutts & Me came about, it just made sense.
I also know how difficult it can be leaving your pets when you go away. You want to enjoy your holiday, but there’s always that little part of you wondering what they’re up to.
You know the feeling… you’re sat having a drink on holiday, showing everyone at the table 47 pictures of your dog, wondering what they’re doing and wishing they could somehow FaceTime you.
That’s really what I want Mutts & Me to become, giving you peace of mind while you’re away, and giving your pets the comfort of staying in their own home. They can sleep in their usual spot, go on their normal walks, eat at their usual times and carry on doing all the things they love.
And because every dog is different, I’ll always try to keep things as 'them' as possible. Some will want to cuddle up on the sofa, some will want to walk for hours and some will probably decide within five minutes that I’m their new best friend and bring me every toy they own.
I completely understand that trusting someone with your pets and your home is a big deal, which is why every new client will have a meet and greet beforehand. We can have a chat, I can meet your pets, learn all their little routines and quirks, and you can get to know me too.
I don’t want Mutts & Me to just be someone you find when you desperately need a pet sitter. I’d love to become someone you and your dog know and trust, so when your next holiday comes around, you can go away knowing they’re in safe hands and not missing out on any love🤍
