Very delayed posting from the last few crazy weeks! (6 shows in 7 days completed this week!) 🥱😵‍💫🫨
It’s been a month of character building and several very nearly tickets! 🫣🤣

Pandora won her Peasedown final at NPS champs🤩 then followed on with a top pull in a very strong novice class at BSPS summer champs before forgetting how to trot or canter properly 😆 ponies hey 🫣

Guy has had some great results, performing a beautiful show in the Blue Riband at BSPS, 3rd in Champion of Champions, and has had nearly every single placing in his qualifiers this season except the win… one more chance!🤞🏼🙏🏼

Tilly has had an easy month but managed a 2nd in the juniors at New Forest- so close! 😩

But thank goodness Quinn saved the day (week & month..!)🤣 by winning and collecting his HOYS ticket and taking reserve champion yesterday at Edenbridge & Oxted show 🙌🏼😍

RIHS 2026- what a week! 🤩

Tuesday was an absolutely fantastic day, one I will treasure and remember for a long time! Such a privilege 🥰
Onto competing- Wednesday morning saw Elicia Smithers & Carnsdale Wise Guy take 7th in the 15h SHP class, performing beautifully and coming up from no pull. So proud of how they are progressing and building as a partnership. 😍
Tilly went beautifully in an incredibly strong junior class but was sadly unplaced.
Onto Thursday, Tilly gave me a beautiful ride to finish 4th in a fabulous NF/connie class. 💚 Huge well done to Sue on her win!! Thrilled to have ridden my girl there- she has already made so many dreams come true I enjoy every spin we have around these rings. 💃🏻
Then home for a quick pony/horse swap! Back down for Friday afternoon, where Quinn and Jono won the amateur HW and had a great gallop in the championship 💙
The final day Saturday did not disappoint- they went on to win an incredible Pure Bred ID class and take the overall Championship! That now takes Quinn’s RIHS tally to 5 wins, 2 champions and a reserve! What an incredible partnership they are, and what a horse he is 🤩

Plum is a beautiful 4-year-old registered Class 1 Connemara mare, standing at 147cm. She is N/N for HWSD.Started in November last year, Plum is now working well in all three paces. She has been to arena hires, is straightforward to take out, and shows a super shape over a fence.She....

Dowdstown Purple & Jono, Reserve Champion Hunter at the Hickstead Derby! 💙💜

Incredibly proud watching them in that main ring. Achieving one of Jono’s life long bucket list goals, and in style!

Given the challenging lead up which meant neither the horse or Jono were as prepared or riding fit (if you’ve seen the bruises you’ll know!) as we would’ve liked- they did a great job 👏🏼 🤩

Trenley Trinket 🫶🏼

At the end of a long, tough day this girl pulled it out the bag and reminded us why we keep going 💪🏼
Winning the mixed breed class at Lincoln County, collecting her HOYS ticket in a class full of hairies is no mean feat! 😆🫣

The love I have for this mare and all she continues to do for me 🥹💗

Yesterday felt like one of those days that are what it should all be about.
Beautiful ponies, (mostly) sunshine and time spent with our lovely friends! Plus a M&S picnic 😋
Apart from all of our classes went in at the same time 🫣🤣
A RIHS ticket was the cherry on top! 🍒 😍
Elicia Smithers rode the sass queen Tilly (Trenley Trinket) to win the RI junior large breeds, were 2nd in the intermediate and overall reserve champion 💖

Willoway Pandora (old photo sorry!) Lucinda Stapleton-Barraclough
Jill Palmer Stapleton collected her Picton ticket for the summer champs 💕

And my baby pony Dolly (Newfielden Jubilation) came for an outing to support the show and add some miles on the clock before she comes out under saddle- thank you Sal Keswani for showing her! She had a 1st & reserve part bred 💗 and lucky girl came home with a brand new Black Country saddle! Thank you so much Nicola @ Meynell Bespoke Saddles!
