Meet Monty, the Border Collie! 💚

Monty came into our Warwick surgery recently after jumping into a river and unfortunately ending up with a fish hook lodged in the side of his face. 🎣

Our team carefully sedated Monty and safely cut the hook free.

We’re delighted to say that Monty has now made a full recovery and is back to his normal self! 🥰🐾

Look at these beautiful snake cupcakes and brownies! 🧁🍫

They were made by Warwick vet Ailsa as a special thank you to our team after her gorgeous dog, Huxley received treatment for a snake bite. 🐍

They certainly went down a treat! 😋

And the best news of all? Huxley is now back to his normal, naughty self! 🥰🐶

We hope all our clients and their pets have a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend! 🐾☀️

If you do need us, the following surgeries will be open on Saturday:

📍 Southam & Kenilworth: 8:30am – 12:30pm
📍 Stratford: 8:30am – 1:00pm
📍 Warwick: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Our out of ours team at the Warwick surgery will also be available for emergencies overnight, on Sunday, and Bank Holiday Monday.

📞 Please call your usual surgery and follow the instructions provided should you require our services.

This is Bailey! He recently visited our Stratford surgery for his post-op check after having a lump removed.

Everything was looking great and Bailey was given the all-clear!

He was clearly very relieved to get the sign-off… so much so that he picked up his own lead and decided it was time to leave! 🐶

We think Bailey was more than ready to head home. 💚

Meet Norman the ferret! He recently came into our Wellesbourne surgery, where our vet Megan performed a vasectomy on him.

Male ferrets are generally vasectomised rather than castrated, as removing the testicles can increase their risk of developing hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing’s disease).

A vasectomy also means Norman can still mate with a female without causing pregnancy. This is important because female ferrets are induced ovulators, meaning mating is needed to stimulate ovulation and bring them out of season.

Norman was a lovely patient and recovered well from his procedure 💚

We have had a female cat brought into our Warwick surgery following a road traffic accident, she was found on Hampton Road. Sadly, she is injured and, unfortunately, she is not microchipped.

Due to high demand and to ensure we can provide the best possible service to our current clients, we will be pausing all new client registrations throughout August.

We will be reopening new client registrations in September, and we look forward to welcoming our new patients and clients then.

Eddie came into our Heathcote surgery after it was suspected he had been attacked by a fox, leaving part of his beak hanging loose.

Our team placed Eddie under anaesthetic and successfully repaired his injured beak. This photo was taken shortly after his surgery, before he was collected to continue his recovery at home.

We're delighted to say that Eddie has since made a full recovery and is doing well. 💚
