🏇 Proud to be BHA Licensed! 🏊‍♂️🐎

We’re incredibly proud to be one of only a small number of equine swimming pools in the country to hold a British Horseracing Authority (BHA) licence. 🇬🇧

For us, it’s about much more than simply having a pool. It’s about maintaining the highest standards of safety, care and professionalism for every horse that comes through our doors.

And when you’re choosing where to send your horse for swimming, one thing that should never be overlooked is insurance.

Swimming is an excellent form of low-impact fitness, rehabilitation and conditioning, but horses are valuable animals and accidents can happen. It’s important to know that the facility you’re using has the appropriate insurance cover in place, alongside the correct licensing and safety procedures.

So, before putting your horse in a pool, don’t be afraid to ask:

✅ Is the pool properly licensed?
✅ Is the facility appropriately insured?
✅ Are the staff experienced and trained in equine swimming?
✅ Are there clear safety and emergency procedures?

Your horse deserves nothing less. ❤️

With the ground hard and arenas deep and dusty, why not bring your horse for a swim? 🌊

Swimming is a fantastic way to give your horse a proper workout while taking the pressure off joints on those hard, dry surfaces. It’s a great way to improve their fitness, maintain muscle tone and give them some variety in their training.

One last swim before the next big adventure! 🐴💦

Elliot enjoyed his final session with us before he heads off to the FEI World Eventing Championships (WEG) in Aachen with Giovanni Ugolotti. 🇮🇹

We wish Gio and Elliot the very best of luck as they head off to represent on the world stage. We’ll be cheering them on every step of the way and can’t wait to follow their adventure. 😍

This lovely guy left us this morning. He stayed for two weeks for weight loss. Looking much slimmer and more toned after his 32kg loss. 👌🏻

How fabulous to receive these photos yesterday! 🤩

Huge congratulations to Cerys and Ru, who won 🥇 Team Gold for Great Britain at the FEI U25 World Championships, as well as 🥈 Individual Silver. What an incredible achievement!

Ru came swimming with us in the lead-up to the championships to help build his fitness, and we’re absolutely delighted to hear it made such a difference.

Here’s what Cerys had to say:

“Hi, just wanted to say a huge thank you to your team for your help with Ru. He was so much fitter than at Bramham, jumping so well on the final day too. He won individual silver medal and team gold for GB. We will hopefully be coming back in the run up to the next big one!”

We’re so proud to have played a small part in your journey. Massive congratulations to you both, and we can’t wait to welcome you back soon! 🥰🐴💙

Ivor headed home on Saturday after spending a week with us while his owner was busy with work. During his stay, he achieved an impressive 24kg loss! 🥰

🐴 Box Rest & Recovery Stables Available 🐴

We currently have 3 stables available for owners looking for a safe, quiet, and supportive environment for horses requiring box rest, rehabilitation, or recovery from injury.

Whether your horse is recovering from surgery, an injury, or simply needs a period of controlled rest, we can provide comfortable accommodation and attentive care to help support their recovery.

✅ Spacious stables
✅ Quiet, stress-free environment
✅ Experienced horse care
✅ Ideal for injury rehabilitation and box rest

Once your horse has recovered and is ready to progress, there is the option of moving on to our Swimming Livery programme to help rebuild fitness, strength, and confidence in a controlled, low-impact way.

These stables are not on our main yard and in a quiet contained area.
