🐴 Henry’s Arden Equine Pool Journey 🐴

What a transformation for Henry! 💙

Henry arrived at Arden Equine Pool rather sore on his feet and needed to lose some weight. During his stay, he has lost an impressive 50kg, helping to take some extra pressure off his body and feet.

With a programme tailored to him, Henry has worked hard and made fantastic progress — and we’re absolutely delighted that when he left us, he was trotting up sound! 🥰👏

It’s always so rewarding seeing these horses improve throughout their stay, and Henry has been an absolute pleasure to have with us.

🌊 We have drop-in swims available tomorrow if your horse could benefit from some low-impact conditioning or fitness work.

🏡 We also currently have swimming livery spaces available for horses needing a more structured programme and regular access to the pool.

📩 Get in touch to book a drop-in swim or chat to us about swimming livery.

🌱🐴 The grass is still growing… and so are the waistlines! 🐴🌱

With all this lush grass, we’re seeing an increase in weight management struggles and laminitis concerns in our equine friends. 💚

Swimming is a fantastic low-impact form of exercise that can help support fitness and conditioning while being kinder to the joints — a great option for horses who need to get moving but may struggle with carrying extra weight.

If your horse is looking a little too “well fed” at the moment, don’t wait until the grass gets the better of them! 🌿😅

📩 Get in touch today to book your horse in for a swim and let’s help keep them happy, healthy and moving this season. 🐎💦

🍯 Honey 🍯

This little pocket rocket left us this morning after spending 8 days with us 🥹💕

Honey lost an amazing 27kg during her stay and was recovering from an injury which meant her exercise needed to be kept to straight lines. 👌🏻

She’s been an absolute superstar and we’re so pleased with how she’s progressed during her time with us. 🥰

🏊🏼‍♀️ We have spaces available from Monday for swimming liveries, and our drop-in swimming spaces are also available every morning except Sundays.

If you’d like to find out more or book a space, just drop us a message! 💌

🏇 Proud to be BHA Licensed! 🏊‍♂️🐎

We’re incredibly proud to be one of only a small number of equine swimming pools in the country to hold a British Horseracing Authority (BHA) licence. 🇬🇧

For us, it’s about much more than simply having a pool. It’s about maintaining the highest standards of safety, care and professionalism for every horse that comes through our doors.

And when you’re choosing where to send your horse for swimming, one thing that should never be overlooked is insurance.

Swimming is an excellent form of low-impact fitness, rehabilitation and conditioning, but horses are valuable animals and accidents can happen. It’s important to know that the facility you’re using has the appropriate insurance cover in place, alongside the correct licensing and safety procedures.

So, before putting your horse in a pool, don’t be afraid to ask:

✅ Is the pool properly licensed?
✅ Is the facility appropriately insured?
✅ Are the staff experienced and trained in equine swimming?
✅ Are there clear safety and emergency procedures?

Your horse deserves nothing less. ❤️

We’re proud to be able to offer our clients the reassurance that comes with being BHA licensed, alongside the care and attention we give every horse that swims with us.

Quality, safety and peace of mind — because your horse is worth it. 🐎💦

With the ground hard and arenas deep and dusty, why not bring your horse for a swim? 🌊

Swimming is a fantastic way to give your horse a proper workout while taking the pressure off joints on those hard, dry surfaces. It’s a great way to improve their fitness, maintain muscle tone and give them some variety in their training.

Swimming is a brilliant alternative when the ground conditions aren’t ideal! 💪🐎

📩 Get in touch to book your swim and keep your horse fit, happy and ready to go!

One last swim before the next big adventure! 🐴💦

Elliot enjoyed his final session with us before he heads off to the FEI World Eventing Championships (WEG) in Aachen with Giovanni Ugolotti. 🇮🇹

We wish Gio and Elliot the very best of luck as they head off to represent on the world stage. We’ll be cheering them on every step of the way and can’t wait to follow their adventure. 😍

Safe travels, Elliot and Clare – now it’s time to shine! ⭐️🍀⛴️
