This is my daughter Jess's page. Some of you who have known me for a long time will have met her, she used to help out in the salon when she was younger, before heading off to university.

Jess completed her Bachelor's degree in Zoology, where she had some incredible opportunities to photograph wildlife in the UK and beyond, and that's where she really caught the bug for photography.

She's now close to finishing her Master's degree in Wildlife Documentary Production. It's a highly technical course that has allowed her to develop her skills even further, learning to work with professional camera equipment and developing her storytelling through film.

She's now starting her own business doing what she loves, photographing and filming animals, so I wanted to share her page with you all.

She's incredibly talented, and I'm obviously a very proud mum! Her photos and films are absolutely beautiful, and her introductory package is such good value.

Thank You for Your Understanding ❤️🐾

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of my wonderful clients for your patience and, I simply couldn't guarantee the safety and welfare of the pets in my care.

Grooming isn't just clipping hair. Every dog needs to be bathed and thoroughly blow-dried, and the high-powered dryers quickly raise the temperature inside the salon. Even with fans and every precaution possible, it became uncomfortably hot.

The heat also causes clipper blades to become much hotter than normal. Although I regularly change and cool blades throughout every groom, in these temperatures they can overheat much more quickly, increasing the risk of burns. Combined with the extra heat and stress, there is also a greater risk of heat exhaustion or heat stroke, particularly for elderly dogs, anxious dogs and those with thick coats.

Your pets' safety will always come before keeping to the diary.

As soon as the weather cools and I know I can groom safely again, I'll be in touch with everyone affected to rearrange appointments as quickly as possible.

Thank you again for your patience, your kindness and for trusting me to always put your dogs first. It means more than you know. ❤️🐶

Hello all!

I'm finally home after a lovely holiday and just wanted to pop on with a little update. 😊

I've come back to a huge number of messages and urgent grooming requests, so I'm spending the next few days getting back on track and working through everything as quickly as I can.

If you've sent me a message and haven't had a reply yet, please bear with me. I promise I haven't forgotten you – I'd just really appreciate a few days to catch up with admin and respond to everyone properly.

What a wonderful time we're having visiting family in Austria. While I'm here, I had the pleasure of giving beautiful Bolly her first puppy haircut.

Bolly is a gorgeous 16-week-old
Lagotto Romagnolo. We've been getting to know each other this week, spending time on gentle desensitisation to grooming tools, handling and techniques.
She did so well during her first trim last night and took everything in her stride. We think she looks absolutely beautiful! 😍

Puppy introductions like these are so important. Taking the time to build confidence and positive associations helps set puppies up for a lifetime of stress-free grooming experiences.

Well done, Bolly, Tamara and Daniel. A great family job! ❤️
