Today I've been back to see Romanian rescue dog Coco who I first met in July. She's come a long way since then thanks to the hard work and love of her new family.
She still finds visitors quite concerning so we need to help her with that but she did eventually settle next to me on the settee ❤️

When you need to get ready for work but your dog is snoozing on your lap .......

An apple a day keeps the vettyman at bay!
They can be pesky things to eat though

A certain puppy got herself stuck at the bottom of a ditch with vertical, muddy sides which was accessed via very dense trees, nettles and extremely thorny bushes - it was the best work out I've had in a while but I think I'll need a new coat!
Of course Skye gave not a single f**k and was soon running around again while I was checking out my nettle stings 🤣

Today I've been back to see Bonnie for her third puppy training session. Puppies can be very hard work but putting in the work and setting them off on the right track when they are young will reap rewards throughout their lifetime.

I'm sure that Bonnie and her family will have lots of fun times together ❤️

Today I have been working with 6 year old Buddy who has been showing signs of severe anxiety & fly catching syndrome for the last couple of months. His vet & neurologist both think it is a behavioural issue so I've been to meet him today to see if I could help him.
By the end of our session, Buddy was sleeping soundly in the lounge - something he hasn't done since July.
It's early days but hopefully Buddy can start to feel more like his old self now.

🎄 Something festive is coming… 👀🐾

I know we haven't even had Halloween yet 😂 BUT I've started plotting this year's Christmas Scentwork…

And I have ideas. 😈🎅

I'm not giving too much away just yet, but expect festive searches, Christmas chaos and some rather interesting challenges for both dogs AND handlers! 😂

👃 Sniffing will be involved.
🎁 There may be presents.
🎅 Santa might need some help.
🦌 And I'm making absolutely no promises about well-behaved reindeer…

More details and dates coming soon! 🎄🐾

Who wants first dibs when the Christmas Scentwork dates go live?
