🐾 A Little Update on Betty! ❤️

Betty has had a busy day today! 💕

Our beautiful girl was off to the vets to be spayed and microchipped, and we're pleased to say everything went well. 🩷

Betty was the youngest of the cats who came into our care as part of our recent colony rescue, and she's now back with us, ready for a relaxing evening and some well-deserved rest while she recovers. 🐱💤

It's another important step in making sure Betty has the best possible start towards a happier, brighter future. ❤️

🐾❤️ WE'RE IN NEED OF CAT LITTER! CAN YOU HELP? ❤️🐾

Today we're asking for a little help with one of the essentials we get through every single day at Safe Cats Rescue Warrington cat litter! 🐱

With so many cats depending on us, we're getting through an enormous amount. We currently have 15 cats in our care, and keeping their litter trays clean and fresh is a huge part of their daily care.

Some of you will remember our last litter appeal, when so many of you came together to help us. We were absolutely overwhelmed by your kindness, and the bags of litter that arrived made such a difference. ❤️

We're hoping to do the same again because, although it might seem like a small thing, every single bag helps us keep on top of the daily needs of our cats.

Every bag purchased is one less we have to worry about finding the money for, allowing us to concentrate on caring for the cats who need us.

🐾 Loki’s little performance! 🎭❤️

Well, someone was feeling particularly cheeky this morning! 😂❤️

Every morning, Loki is usually waiting for me in his bed, ready to give me his usual hiss and have a little swipe as I go into his pen. But today, he had other plans!

Instead of staying curled up in his bed, Loki decided to get down and jump onto the unit behind me, making sure I had to find a completely different way to give him a fuss! 🐾😹

I managed to capture a little video of him exploring the shelf, and it was so lovely to see him standing up, moving around and showing off just how handsome he really is. 🥰

We’ve become so used to seeing Loki lying with his head down or tucked up in his bed that seeing him like this felt like such a little moment of progress. ❤️

And just look at Bonnie and Bella in the next pen, watching him as though he’s putting on a little performance just for them! 😂🐈🐈

Loki is still a work in progress, and he has a long way to go before he fully trusts us, but moments like this remind us that there’s a cheeky little character in there just waiting to come out.

It might seem like a small thing to some people, but when you care for nervous cats, these little moments mean so much. ❤️

🎬🍿 Movie night with Willow & Misty! 🐱❤️

Two sisters, one cosy evening and plenty of time for cuddles! 🥰

Willow and Misty have settled in for a relaxing movie night this evening in their foster home with myself, Mark, enjoying some home comforts and each other's company. 🏡💕

These beautiful girls have spent almost their entire lives waiting for a family to call their own, and we would love nothing more than to see them finally get the happy ending they deserve. ❤️

For tonight, it's just a little sofa time, a cosy evening and two very special sisters enjoying the simple things in life. 🐾

🌟 TIGGER NEEDS HER FOREVER HOME 🖤👑 🌟

Some of you may remember our beautiful Tigger, who we introduced last year as our very special “Queen of Cuddles.” 🐾

Sadly, after a year in a loving home, Tigger has now returned to Safe Cats Rescue and is looking for another chance at happiness. 💔

Tigger's family have tried their best, but unfortunately she and the other cat in the household have struggled to live peacefully together. Both cats deserve to be happy and stress-free, and Tigger is now back in our care while we search for the right home for her.

We know that returning a much-loved pet is never an easy decision, and our focus now is on finding this lovely girl the home where she can truly settle and be happy. ❤️

Tigger really is a lovely girl.

When we first met her, she had been found hungry and sheltering underneath cars, doing her best to survive outside. When we approached her to scan for a microchip, she didn't hide from us she came straight over.

We brought her into Safe Cats, gave her the love and care she needed, and were delighted when she found a home of her own.

Now she's back with us, and we desperately want to find her the happy ending she deserves. ❤️

Please don't let Tigger's age put you off!

At 13 years old, she still has the spirit of a spring chick! 🐣 She's playful, affectionate, chatty and full of personality, but she's equally happy curling up beside you for a peaceful snooze.

Tigger would love a home where she can be the only cat, receive plenty of attention and enjoy being someone's special girl.

🏡 COULD YOU BE TIGGER'S HAPPY EVER AFTER?

We know that older cats are often overlooked, but Tigger has so much love left to give. She deserves someone who looks beyond her age and sees the wonderful companion she could be.

She has already had to start over at least three times that we know of, and we would love nothing more than for her next home to be her last a home where she can feel safe, loved and cherished for the rest of her life. 🖤

❤️🐾 A LITTLE UPDATE ON OUR RECENT ADOPTIONS! 🐾❤️

It’s been such an exciting time at Safe Cats Rescue Warrington, with three of our lovely cats recently finding their forever homes! 🏡 We thought you’d love to hear how they’re all getting on. 🥰

🐾 Jasper 🐾

We’ve had a lovely update from Jasper’s new mum, Chloe, who says he has settled in really well! He’s having a fantastic time playing with all his new toys and has even started playing fetch! 🎾 It sounds like he’s having the time of his life and keeping his new family entertained. ❤️

🐾 George 🐾

George’s new mum, Janice, tells us he settled in beautifully. As soon as he arrived, he had a little wander around the house as though he’d always lived there, before making himself comfortable on the sofa! 😻 George and Janice are enjoying each other’s company, and we couldn’t be happier for our lovely boy. ❤️

🐾 Jasmine 🐾

Richard and Helen have also sent us a lovely update on Jasmine, who has settled in really well and is getting on wonderfully with her new feline friends, Felix and Buddy. 🐱💕 The three of them spend their time exploring the enclosed garden or relaxing together in the bedroom, where they have three cosy beds on the windowsill, enjoying the view while keeping warm above the radiator. It sounds absolutely perfect!

Seeing photos of our cats happy, relaxed and loved in their new homes is one of the most rewarding parts of rescue. ❤️ After all the time, care and love that goes into helping each cat find the right family, updates like these make everything worthwhile.

A huge thank you to Chloe, Janice, Richard and Helen for giving our lovely cats such wonderful homes, and for taking the time to let us know how they’re getting on. 🥰

We wish Jasper, George and Jasmine a lifetime of happiness, love and adventures with their new families. You’ve all made us very happy! ❤️🐾
