It’s set to be another scorcher this week 🥵
All training classes are cancelled for the welfare of the dogs, make sure to keep those dogs cool!

Any new enquires we have received in the last week should now have received a response (check junk folders) if you can’t see a reply please drop us a message.
Admin Abi is away a bit over the next few weeks so replies may not be as quick as normal, please bear with us! We try to be as efficient as possible but life gets very busy for us over summer.

He was such a star in the ring during our display, proving that hard work and good foundations create dogs that can thrive in different environments and take on new challenges with confidence!
Dog training is more than just creating a well behaved dog, it’s working in partnership with your pups to help them navigate all the different situations we put them in and have faith that as their handlers we have their back no matter what is going on around them. After all teamwork makes the dream work 🤩

It was a busy weekend rounded off with a trip to meatupfestival to do a display for them with the dogs!
The dogs were all fantastic and coped really well in the environment. We let the dogs show off some cool skills and then demonstrated how we train them. We really enjoyed the experience and hope to be back again next year.

We have also had quite a few new training enquiries over the weekend, which have now all been responded to. Team day out at a charity gundog working test today!
Some great work from the dogs, it was a great opportunity to get them out in a relaxed test environment and work through any struggles and see how they stood up to the tests.

A spot of jumping last night in our Tuesday evening gundog drop in sessions!

Firstly we teach the dogs to jump over fencing without a dummy involved, then we progress to the dogs jumping to retrieve a dummy and then pushing on to being able to send over multiple obstacles like through a pen and teaching the dogs to return back the way they came. We have to say the client’s smashed it last night! 👏

The weather over the last week has been HOT HOT 🥵 which has meant we haven’t been able to run classes as normal and the majority of classes have been cancelled for the welfare of the dogs.

However, we have managed to hire a secure water field for some of our gundog members to still be able to get a spot of training done in a safe way for the dogs and mix up their sessions a bit!
It’s gone down a treat and the dogs have had a blast working on their water retrieves 🌊

Yesterday was a super Sunday of training!
We have had a lot of new puppies join over the last few weeks and they are all progressing beautifully. Yesterday they were absolutely on fire and it was so lovely to see all the members of the households attending to take part in training their pups.
Consistency is always key when it comes to dog training and we love to see everyone in the family willing to put in the time and effort 👏
