A well behaved dog is a pleasure to have around. The Gundog puppy class has a strong focus on obedience as well as encouraging a correct retrieve.

These puppies all completed one block of obedience first and moved over to Gundog.

A day out training for the trainers today!
We have road tripped over to Chesterfield to work on some new gundog ground. We worked the younger dogs in the morning session focusing on handing skills and the more established dogs spent the afternoon tacking tough terrain in the crop field.
A great day out with some good progress from our dogs and a bonus that the sun was shining ☀️

Basics. Basics. Basics. Was the theme of today’s classes!
Stay means stay, no matter what nonsense we might throw your way 😂 No one says you can’t combine some fitness workouts into your dog training sessions!

It’s set to be another scorcher this week 🥵
All training classes are cancelled for the welfare of the dogs, make sure to keep those dogs cool!

Any new enquires we have received in the last week should now have received a response (check junk folders) if you can’t see a reply please drop us a message.
Admin Abi is away a bit over the next few weeks so replies may not be as quick as normal, please bear with us! We try to be as efficient as possible but life gets very busy for us over summer.

We love this shot of baby Vinnie from meatupfestival!
He was such a star in the ring during our display, proving that hard work and good foundations create dogs that can thrive in different environments and take on new challenges with confidence!
Dog training is more than just creating a well behaved dog, it’s working in partnership with your pups to help them navigate all the different situations we put them in and have faith that as their handlers we have their back no matter what is going on around them. After all teamwork makes the dream work 🤩
