Meet Gracie

A genuine, fun all-rounder looking for her next best friend. Gracie would make an ideal second kids pony for a rider wanting to enjoy Pony Club, Riding Club, hacking and competitions.

Gracie has been a fantastic Pony Club pony with Haydock Pony Club, taking part in show jumping, dressage and mounted games training. She particularly loved Pony Club camp, happily standing and waiting her turn in clinics before giving her all when it was time to go.

she is mostly ridden in a snaffle except when Cross-country where we just have her in a 2.5ring for children.
She enjoys farm rides but prefers to lead the way, but she is never silly or unmanageable.

Apart from her breeder, she’s only had 2 owners. Her previous owner bought her as a youngster and successfully competed her in British Showjumping and BE90 events. While she is capable, we feel she is happiest and most confident around the 70–80cm level.

On the ground, Gracie has a lovely personality. She enjoys fuss and attention but also appreciates her own space and likes you to say hello over the stable door first. She is easy to handle, is happy for you to muck out while she’s in her stable, and the only rule she has is that she prefers not to be disturbed while eating.

Most importantly, Gracie is an incredibly genuine and trustworthy pony to ride. She has never been sick or sorry and has given the owner so much confidence and enjoyment over the years.

She is now looking for a loving home where she can continue to have fun and make more wonderful memories with her next rider.

Meet Jasper

• Smart 14.1
• 12yo
• gelding
• non registered Connemara

Jasper is a straightforward, level headed pony, ready for his next home. He has competed in unaffiliated dressage and showjumping (up to 80cm) as well as xc schooled.

On the flat, he is well schooled and keeps a consistent rhythm in all three paces. Jasper loves to jump, happily jumping round a full course with the same calm temperament at shows as he has at home. He may have the odd look at a filler if his rider is not confident.

XC he is very brave and bold, confidently jumping ditches, steps, and water, and will happily tackle anything asked of him. We reckon he would make a brilliant tetrathlon pony. He is sensible and mannerly in open spaces and doesn’t get strong.

Out hacking, Jasper is happy alone or in company, and hacks on a loose rein. He’s been on farm rides, is good in traffic and will happily babysit younger horses.

Jasper is easy to handle, clip and shoe. He loads onto a trailer first time and will also load into a horsebox with a little encouragement.

He is up to date with his farrier, dentist, physio, vaccinations, and all routine care.

🤍 A little announcement from me… 🤍

As we head into September it’s time to tell you that it will be my last month taking ridden sales horses in, before I take a temporary step back.

Since welcoming Zara, I’ve quickly realised that new motherhood is no small thing. It takes up so much of you; physically, mentally and emotionally, and right now, I want to put that time, energy and focus into enjoying my little girl and being present for these precious early months. 🤍

The business has continued to run so smoothly during my time taking a step back, and we’ve had some fantastic and successful sales thanks to my amazing team, who I’m incredibly grateful for especially to Amy who’s just been a god send.

But if I’m completely honest, I don’t feel as connected to the business as I once did. I’ve always wanted to give every horse and every client my absolute all, and I feel it’s only fair to take some time out rather than try to do everything while my priorities have changed.

This isn’t goodbye - just a little pause. 🫶🏼

Meanwhile The yard will continue to operate and will now be open for full liveries.

And I’m also incredibly excited to be working towards launching my new venture, EquiSource. 🤎

Equisource will allow me to continue doing what I love, but in a way that fits much better around life with Zara. I will be helping owners source and sell horses, while offering my expert advice, knowledge and experience along the way.

I’m really excited for this next chapter and for what Equisource will bring.

For now, though, I’m going to slow down, enjoy my baby girl and embrace this very special time. The horses will always be there, but she’ll never be this little again. 💗
