WITH THE HEAVIEST OF HEARTS…

Today, we closed the doors of Pets Pantry for the final time. Sadly, we will not be reopening.

There really are no words to express how sorry we are, or how difficult this is to write.

More than anything, we want to say thank you - for every visit, every order, every conversation and for the incredible loyalty, kindness and support you have shown us over the years.

You were never simply ‘clients’ to us. You became friends and part of the Pets Pantry family, which makes saying goodbye so incredibly difficult.

It has been an absolute privilege getting to know you and your wonderful pets and we will miss you all more than we can say.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything.

Love from
Gina, Lynette, Hannah, Tina, Rebecca, Nikki & Richard

🐾 WHAT’S ACTUALLY IN YOUR DOG’S TREATS? 🐾

Treats are part of everyday life for most dogs - whether you’re training, rewarding good behaviour, or simply because they’re very good at convincing us they need one!

But how often do you actually look at what’s in them?

Just like their main food, it’s worth knowing what you’re giving them.

We have a wide range of natural treats in store, from simple single-ingredient options to treats for different sizes, ages and dietary needs.

Not sure what would suit your dog? Ask us. We’ll help you find something they’ll love - and that you’re happy giving them too 🐾💛

🐾 DOES YOUR DOG NEED A NEW COAT? 🌧️

A good dog coat isn’t just about keeping the rain off. The right fit matters too.

It needs to be comfortable, allow your dog to move properly and suit the type of walks you do.

We have an extensive range of coats upstairs on our first floor and online, with different sizes and styles to suit different dogs.

Bring your dog in and our team will happily help you choose and fit the right one 🐾

Very useful when you live in the North West .. 😂

🐾 DID YOU WELCOME A PUPPY THIS SUMMER? 🐾

If a new puppy joined your family over the summer, September can bring another big change.

Children go back to school, work routines return, and suddenly your puppy may have less company than they’ve been used to.

But what about their next stage? 🐶

Puppies grow and change so quickly. Is it time to review their food? Are their walks changing? What about training, treats and enrichment as they get older?

If you’re thinking “actually .. I’m not sure what comes next” - pop in and have a chat with us.

We can help you work out what your puppy needs now, and what to think about as they grow 💛🐾

The weather seems to have made its mind up, and wet walks are firmly back.

If last year’s coat no longer fits, or you’ve got a puppy who’s suddenly grown, now is a good time to get sorted.

We have an extensive range of dog coats upstairs on our first floor and online.

Bring them in and the team can help find and fit the right one, ready for whatever the weather decides to do next ☔🐾

BACK TO SCHOOL MEANS BACK TO ROUTINE FOR PETS 🐾

Back to school doesn’t just change our routine - our pets notice it too.

After a summer with more people at home, longer days and different routines, September can mean a suddenly quieter house.

Getting back into regular walk and feeding times, introducing periods alone gradually and providing plenty of play, training and enrichment can all help make the change easier.

Our Head Trainer Hannah certainly knows a thing or two about keeping dogs active and engaged! 🐾
Pictured with her own dog Fizz, they’re now just ONE WIN away from Grade 7! 🙌🏼 Crufts here we come ..🤞🏼💛

If your pet is finding the new routine difficult, pop in and have a chat with us. We’re always happy to help 🐾

WHY WE’D PUT OUR NAME ON IT ..

We’d never put our name on something we didn’t believe in.

Quality ingredients.

Nutrition we’d happily recommend.

Great value.

And backed by the advice you’ve trusted for years.

For us, it’s never just about selling pet food.

It’s about helping you make the right choice for your pet 💛

A QUESTION WE’VE BEEN ASKING OURSELVES...

Over the years, we’ve recommended hundreds of pet foods and helped owners find the right food for their pets. But there’s one question we’ve kept coming back to...

If we were going to put our own name on a food, what would it need to be like?

It’s something we’ve spent a lot of time thinking about... 👀🐾

And over the next few weeks, we’re finally going to start sharing a little more 💛
