Hot weather can be hard on your dog’s paw pads. Hot pavements, sand, dry ground and long walks can contribute to paws becoming dry, rough and irritated.

As we head into the BER months, the conditions change again. Colder weather, wet ground, mud and grit can all contribute to dry or cracked paw pads.

Regularly checking your dog’s paws and applying a nourishing paw balm can help keep the pads soft and supple and provide some extra protection from the elements.
