Just a little Ainsdale update 🌊

We’re getting settled into our new place (still surrounded by boxes 📦), and Harley has blown me away with how quickly she’s taken to it 🤩
We’re obsessed with having the beach LITERALLY on our doorstep!

I’ve already started working with some lovely new dog guardians around here, so if you’re based in Southport/Formby and are in need of some support with your dog, my diary is open! 📔

To my Warrington/St Helens clients - nothing is changing! I’m still travelling over and keeping my usual sessions exactly as normal.

Just wanted to post a quick reminder of my working hours ⏰

I know I am the worst culprit for breaking my own boundaries and sending late night replies or messaging on my days off, but I am REALLY trying to stick to them from now on 😅

I realise my habit of working out of hours can create some confusion around when I am actually as my desk. So as a reminder:

- Sundays and Mondays: CLOSED.
- 7pm (latest) cut-off for replying to messages through the work week.
- There is a maximum of 48 hours** for me to reply to messages, please be patient 🙏🏼

** Between training sessions with clients, driving between sessions, writing training summaries, creating content and doing general business admin, it’s a juggling act! Replying to messages is only a little part of the business, hence the 48-hour response time 🐾

If you catch me replying on a Monday, please tell me off 😂 and with that in mind, it’s Monday so I’m now taking the remainder of the day off 🤣

Last chance it get a spot at our upcoming Calm Dog Workshop this weekend, Saturday 26th September 10am 🐶

Adolescence is tough. If your junior dog has suddenly forgotten all their foundation training, please know you are not alone!

It’s A Dog’s Life and myself are running this workshop once a month to provide trainer-led socialisation and behaviour support for junior dogs. It is specifically designed to give both you and your dog a little extra guidance through that tricky teenage phase.

We will be working on building focus, encouraging neutrality around other dogs, and managing those big teenage emotions in a safe, controlled environment.

🗓 When: Saturday 26th September at 10AM 📍
Where: It’s A Dog’s Life, St Helens, WA9 5AE
* further dates are available to book between now and December 2026.

Spaces are strictly limited to ensure every dog gets the space they need to succeed.

Shout out to my own dog, Harley, and all of my clients for being the inspiration behind these 🤣

If you know, you know. Unless you are actively working through behaviour struggles, you won’t get it 😅

To all the dog guardians out there currently doing tactical, military-style manoeuvres behind parked cars or politely negotiating over a damp tissue.. you are doing brilliant, and you are definitely not alone!
