🎆🐾 Fireworks season is approaching! 🐾🎆

With Halloween and Bonfire Night just around the corner, now is the perfect time to start preparing your pets for the noisy nights ahead! 💜

Fireworks can be frightening for many pets, but there are things we can do to help them feel safer and more comfortable. 🐶🐱

💊 Think your pet may need sedative medication? Please contact us in advance to arrange a consultation with one of our vets. This gives us time to discuss your pet’s individual needs and decide on the most appropriate support.

📅 Please don’t leave it until the last minute! We recommend getting in touch as early as possible to ensure your pet is prepared before the fireworks begin.

🏡 In the meantime, create a cosy, quiet den, keep windows and curtains closed, and use the TV or music to help mask the noise.

We have had a young entire male brown lurcher brought to us who was found on Orford Lane near the chip shop.

He is receiving medical treatment and we need to speak to the owners urgently.

He is not chipped.

🐾 Doughi’s road to recovery! 🐾

Over the past few weeks, Doughi has been visiting us for treatment after developing an infected toe, which unfortunately lead to the toe being amputated💔🐾

Following surgery, the infection spread to the wound, so our team worked hard to get everything back on track…
Doughi received antibiotics, regular dressing changes and Phovia® light therapy to help support healing💡✨

We’re so pleased with the progress he has made! 🥰
From a painful, infected wound to a happy, healing paw, what a little fighter! ❤️🐶
