The walk was through the loooong grasses today. The best route was off the path. Between downpours. I think I put on and took off my waterproof 3x. Twas kinda windy too. The type right before rain. Pup and I had a great time. Grass up to my waist. Pup led the way in the long leads. Zig zag boiiiing’ing the whole way. We’re both exhausted!

Friday field trip to the new Woodlands Dog Walking Field. Blue-tiful skies, shaded areas every other step, it felt like walking into reverse narnia: summer temps, light-green tipped conifer branches, the most stunning views 👀. It was exciting exploring this hilltop woodland, as I didn’t know where we would end up, or where the end of it was. Dogs had a great time. We enjoyed a leisurely sit & water stop, in the shade of a young oak tree, at the far end. A wonderful first visit!

Countryside adventure with these three beauties. Tractive trackers ahoy: connection can be patchy within the wooded areas. We saw 🦌, a fox, two rabbits, some squirrels on the way and so many birds flying down to greet us/taunt them!
