At Medivet Mansfield Cottage, we’re committed to reducing our environmental impact while delivering exceptional care to our patients. Here’s how we’re making a difference:
• We use reusable drapes, instruments, hand towels and scrub hats that we sterilise after each use.
• We welcome donations of towels and bedding for our inpatients.
• We ensure clinical and pharmaceutical waste is disposed of safely and efficiently.
• We encourage clients to return unused medication so it can be disposed of safely and responsibly.
• We support staff through the Cycle to Work scheme, helping reduce emissions and promote healthy commuting.
• We send emails instead of letters wherever possible to reduce paper use.
