Our service is called The Cat Butler for a reason. We do not just pop in to top up the food bowl and change the litter. Every single visit includes time for dedicated one on one interaction.

Of course, we always let your cat set the pace. If they want to play, we are ready, but if they prefer to be left in peace to snooze, we respect that too. 👑🐾

In domestic cats, “the flehmen response”, is used to process messages carried by interesting scents. In most cases, this is pheromones from other cats . Most animals, including cats, that exhibit the flehmen response have an opening on the roof of their mouth, just behind their front teeth 🐕

Although the flehmen response is most commonly used by male cats to assess a female’s readiness to mate by sniffing her urine, any cat can use the flehmen response as a reaction to a scent they find worthy of further investigation 🐈‍⬛

So while it might look like your cat is reacting to a bad smell, a cat’s flehmen response doesn’t mean your kitty smells something they think is gross! So don’t get offended if your cat curls their lip after sniffing you 🐾

We need passionate new Butlers to help us keep these lovely feline friends happy and pampered while their owners are away on holiday 🐈

🐱☀️ Keeping Cats Safe in Hot Weather ☀️🐱

As temperatures rise, remember that cats can suffer from heat exhaustion and heatstroke too.

✅ Always provide fresh, cool water
✅ Make sure they have access to shade or a cool indoor space
✅ Avoid vigorous play during the hottest part of the day
✅ Watch for signs of overheating, including excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, or difficulty breathing

Outdoor cats may seek cooler places to rest, so check sheds, garages, and vehicles before closing doors or starting engines.
