This message is direct..But we do receive a lot of time wasters. we do need dedicated volunteers.
We have vacancies for volunteers to help clean the shelter on a Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Shifts 9.30 am to 12. Duties: clean cat areas. Shelter office. Kitchen. Outside in yard. Wash litter trays. Cat utensils etc. Lots of bending and scrubbing. Supervision given. Please private message if interested. Due to liability insurance we cannot take under 21s.

What a fabulous weekend!!!

Thank you to those who came, baked cakes, donated items to sell... especially those who donate through the year to our charity shop... we get amazing donations, our talented crafters making such lovely items to sell, to our volunteers for helping set up and run the stalls, Raffle Prize donators, Norman and Tony on parking, Gardens of Hanbury for the amazing venue, the wonderful music, the psychic readers, Bill for fabulous plants, the staff at the shelter and our wonderful catering team.

If I've forgotten anyone to thank, I apologise but I think it's because I've eaten too many hot dogs and too much cake!

Yet again, a highly successful event, enabling us to continue caring for the furries who come into our care. We truly hope everyone enjoyed their visit. See you again next year!!!

A big thank you for those who braved the rainy weather today! It was a successful day and lovely to meet you all!

Day 2 of our fete tomorrow... more goodies to buy, toys for your cats, tombola, raffle and of course delicious cakes, hot dogs, sandwiches (I recommend the roasted veg!) and jacket spuds!!

We also have for sale lots of cat carriers and beds, as well as some great winter coats (good brands!)

For those unsure where our fete is, the picture below shows the entrance. Coming from Honey Lane, turn right into Forest Ride just after Primo Piatto restaurant, next right into Pynest Green Lane, follow road for a couple of minutes, past Beech Hill Gardens, then the venue is on the right.
