🐾 Happy National Pug Day!

It’s certainly been a day of pugs here at Warren House! We’ve had lots of lovely pug visitors through our doors today, and we couldn’t resist sharing a few adorable faces 🥰

First up is the lovely Aurora Greene, one of our much-loved regulars. Aurora is deaf and blind, and has the sweetest little personality. She’s always a pleasure to see.

Next is little Pete, who joined us today for his vaccinations. Just look at that gorgeous face! 💙

And finally, we have the beautiful Daisy, another of our lovely pug visitors who popped in to see us today!

What better way to celebrate National Pug Day than with these three lovely faces?

We’d love to see your pugs too! Share a photo in the comments below. 📸🐾

Four pets, one visit, and a lovely message to brighten our day! 💙

“Thank you so much for helping us with all four of our animals today and the craziness we can bring!”

Life with animals isn’t always calm or perfectly organised—and we wouldn’t expect it to be! Whether you arrive with one companion or the whole family, we’re here to make your visit a little easier.

Thank you for trusting our Warren House team with your precious four. The “craziness” is always welcome! 🥰

A big part of being a vet is knowing where to look. 🩻

Our patients can't explain their symptoms in quite the same way we can, so sometimes we have to do a little more investigating.

X-rays are one of the tools that can help our team build a clearer picture of what might be going on and, importantly, what we do next.

Behind every image like this is a vet bringing together what they can see on the screen with what they already know about the patient in front of them.

It’s rarely about one image - it’s about putting all the pieces together.

Exceptional veterinary nurses start with strong foundations. 💚

Becoming a student veterinary nurse takes compassion, curiosity and commitment. 📖📚👩🏼‍🎓It means balancing study with practical learning, paying attention to the smallest details, asking questions and taking responsibility—even on the busiest days.

At Warren House Vets🐾, we believe in developing talent from within. We help exceptional Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs) build the skills, confidence and knowledge to progress towards nurse training, supported by experienced colleagues and a team that takes teaching seriously.❤️

The qualities we value? 🌟Reliability, initiative, kindness and a real determination to keep improving. Because excellent patient care begins long before a qualification is earned.

Already have substantial experience in veterinary practice and ready for your next step? We welcome enquiries from experienced VCAs and people with a strong veterinary background who share our standards and ambition.

Send us your CV and a little about yourself to enquire about potential roles and future training opportunities. 🐾

🏆 She’s only gone and won it!

Our practice manager, Gemma, has won the British Veterinary Nursing Association Des Thompson Award – Veterinary Team Member of the Year!

So much of what makes Warren House Vets special happens behind the scenes. As practice manager, Gemma plays a huge part in supporting our team and keeping the practice running, so we’re delighted to see her contribution recognised nationally.

This award celebrates compassion, empathy and making a real difference within the veterinary team — something we’re very proud to celebrate.

Congratulations, Gemma, from all of us at Warren House Vets! 💙👏

FOUND CAT - BROWNHILLS AREA

Sadly, a male black cat has been brought into the practice following a road traffic accident in the Brownhills area. Unfortunately, he had already passed away on arrival.

He is an unneutered male, estimated to be between 1 and 5 years old, and is not microchipped.

We would really like to find his owners so they can be informed.

If you think he may be yours, or you have any information please contact the practice on 01543 373 033.

Please share this post to help us reach his family! 💙
