🍂🐾 HELLO OCTOBER! 🐾🍂
The nights are getting darker, the leaves are falling and autumn is officially here! 🍁
As the seasons change, there are a few simple things you can do to help keep your pets safe:
🌙 Be seen on darker walks – reflective or high-visibility leads, collars, harnesses and coats can help keep you and your dog visible.
🏷️ Check your microchip details – make sure your contact details are correct and up to date.
🦟 Keep parasite protection up to date – fleas and ticks can still be a problem during the cooler months.
🍂 Watch out for autumn hazards – conkers, acorns, mushrooms and antifreeze can all pose risks to pets.
🐾 Check paws after walks – look out for mud, grass seeds, cuts or anything unusual.
🏠 Give them somewhere cosy – make sure your pet has a warm, comfortable place to relax.
🎃 Prepare for Halloween – keep chocolate, sweets, candles and decorations safely out of reach.
🎆 Start preparing for fireworks – don't leave it until Bonfire Night. There are things you can do now to help your pet cope.
💚 A little preparation can make a big difference!
