Looking closely at the twist of different trees on the same horse. The width of the twist of these two saddle trees is similar but the profile is very different. The Fusion is curved and follows the shape of the horse, whereas the Remy is much flatter and bridges. Good fitting saddles start with good fitting trees.

Something alittle different this week! To celebrate National Recycle Week this week here in the UK I wanted to share a few of my recent up-cycling projects. All are re-purposed equestrian items, these useful little gems made from old horse rugs starting a new life as a robust, washable Tote bag great for keeping all your kit together on show days or just popping to the shops. If you have anything you’d like to give a second life to or would like purchase one drop is a message.

Many thanks to all those who responded to our post about how you buy your saddles. There was abit of theme to your replies mostly that finding an Endurance Saddle Fitter was pretty difficult. So my next question is, would you travel to a Saddle Fitting Clinic if we ran them at various locations around the country?
