🐈⬛💖🐾 This handsome boy is Hayden, if you are new to our page, you won't have met him. H is approximately 10 years old & is one of our long term fosters who has been in our care over 3 years now & actually been in rescue 5 years.
H has stomatits which is a horrible disease causing ulcers & inflammation in the mouth making it extremely difficult for cats to eat. Often a partial or full tooth extraction is all that is required, however, for some cats, that doesn't always work.
H is on a lifelong medication called Atopica, although it's not specifically for stomatits, it has proven to have amazing results. It has been nearly 2 years since he has had a flare up and now only needs the medication once every 5 days.
H is such a lovely boy and considering the previous rescue he was with wanted him put to sleep, he is absolutely loving life!
Some of your kind donations go towards cats like Hayden, this is a part of rescue that often isn't seen. Most fosterers open their homes to long termers like Hayden. For some reason they are 'unadoptable' but still deserve the best life & the best care.
