Something groomers donβt talk about enough is the loss. β€οΈπΎ
Over the years, we have had to say goodbye to so many of our furry friends. Some were young, some were old, and some left this world far sooner than they ever should have. And no matter how many times it happens⦠it never gets easier.
We may be their groomer, but somewhere along the way, they become ours, too. We watch them grow, learn their little quirks, celebrate their good days, worry about their hard ones, and sometimes get the heartbreaking call that they wonβt be coming back.
It hurts. Every single time. π
As much as I wish our dogs and cats could stay with us forever, I am incredibly grateful for every single one who has crossed my table and left a little piece of themselves behind.
To all the pups and kitties who have helped mold me into the groomer I am todayβthank you. π«Άπ»
Thank you for teaching me unconditional love.
Thank you for teaching me trust.
Thank you for teaching me patience.
Thank you for teaching me that sometimes the smallest moments can mean the most.
Every pet has taught me something, and those lessons come with me to every dog and cat I care for today. They have shaped the way I groom, the way I handle nervous pets, the way I celebrate the silly ones, and most importantly, the way I love the animals entrusted to me.
Their time with us may never feel long enough, but their paw prints last forever. πΎβ€οΈ
To every clientβpast and presentβwho has trusted me with a piece of your family: thank you. It is an honor I will never take for granted.
And to the ones who have crossed the Rainbow Bridgeβ¦ I hope you know just how loved you were. ππΎ
You may be gone from our tables, but you will never be forgotten.
