🐾 Meet Lenny the ‘Loon’! 🐾

If you’re looking for a young, playful, cheeky and affectionate companion, then look no further than our very own Lenny! 💙

Lenny is a gorgeous 1-year-old boy who came into our care back in March after sadly finding himself homeless through no fault of his own. Since arriving, he’s become a firm favourite with everyone here and manages to make us laugh every single day with his wonderfully cheeky character! 🥰

Lenny absolutely adores people and attention, but there’s one thing he loves more than anything… PLAYTIME!

He’s full of energy, loves to have fun and is always ready for his next adventure.

Although Lenny coped well with life in the cattery at first, as time has gone by he’s becoming increasingly frustrated and overstimulated. He’s used to having his freedom, and being confined to a pen is becoming harder and harder for this active young boy. 💔

What Lenny really needs now is a forever home where he can zoom around, burn off his energy, have lots of fun and, most importantly, receive all the attention and playtime he deserves. 🏡

We’re looking for a home with secondary school-aged children who can understand and respect Lenny’s boundaries while also enjoying his playful and affectionate personality.
Lenny has so much love, fun and mischief to give, and we know there’s a family out there who will absolutely adore this little loon as much as we do. 🥹

💙 Could you be the very special person this little boy needs? 🐾

We are looking for a foster-to-adopt home for a 10-year-old Shih Tzu who has been rescued by an RSPCA Inspector.

Sadly, he has come to us in a very poor condition. He is severely matted, and some other potential health issues and will need time, patience and lots of care as he begins his journey to recovery. 💔

He needs a very special home where someone is around for most of the time and who can give him the reassurance and gentle care he needs.

His foster carer would also need to be able to attend local veterinary appointments with our branch vet, helping us monitor his progress and give him the best possible chance of getting well.

❤️ Our aim is for his foster home to hopefully become his forever home. This means that, once he is ready to be rehomed, we hope he can stay with the person who has helped him recover, rather than having to face another move and resettle all over again.

The branch will provide full support, including his veterinary care and guidance throughout his recovery.

This little lad has already been through far too much. What he needs now is someone who can show him that life can be kind, safe and full of love. 🐶❤️

10 year old Samson has found himself in our care after his owner was struggling to care fo him. He's gone to our wonderful vets Wirral Vets today for a full health check and dematt. He'll feel a lot better once that has been done and back to us for some long needed TLC.

Whilst small breeds such as Shih Tzu's are very popular, they do require regular grooming and clipping throughout their lives. It's vital they are used to this from an early age or they may struggle to tolerate it and become fearful of the clippers.

At around 7 weeks and weighing less than half a kg, poor Pearl was left in a country Lane in Tarporly with a bowl of food and water in a shoebox. Already very thin and boney, she didn't stand a chance. Thankfully she was found and taken to the vets who asked us to help her. Of course we did.

If anyone would like to donate towards Pearl or any of the 120+ cats in our care we would be very grateful. We are a separately registered charity to the. National RSPCA and are self funded. We can only do it with your help 🙏
