When would your pet wear a buster collar and why is wearing a buster collar so important?

🐾 After surgery, it can prevent wound interference / any damaged caused to surgical sites
🐾 wound healing- licking an affected area can invite unwanted bacteria into the site and delay healing
🐾 Skin conditions- for allergies, hot spots or infections - licking will make all of these worse
🐾 eye injuries- eye injuries are often severely worsened if rubbed/ knocked
🐾 Medication protection- if any topical treatment has been applied that your pet shouldn’t lick

Your puppy's first vaccinations are one of the most important steps in protecting them from serious infectious diseases while their immune system is still developing😷

Most puppies begin their vaccination series at 6–8 weeks of age🐶, helping to protect against illnesses such as:
🐾 Parvovirus
🐾 Distemper
🐾Adenovirus (Hepatitis)
🐾Parainfluenza
🐾Leptospirosis

Vaccines work by building your puppy's immunity, giving them the protection they need as they explore the world around them.

PS. Dont forget there are two lots of primary vaccines, so a revisit is required after our weeks for the second round of vaccines🙂
