The first clutches have started to hatch, a late start to the season this year as the change of location knocked things out of schedule a bit.

The second clutch to pip includes my first sunburst, after around 3 years of missing out with hets that didn't prove or pairings that didn't succeed - he is a stunner!

The teeniest, tiniest slug was laid today - slugs are usually small but this one takes the cake 😂

I've finally updated the website with the current progress of the season - it's been a rollercoaster!

2025 season is almost done - we've had fantastic results and there's just one more clutch of eggs in the incubator.

To help reduce the stress associated with traveling to their new homes, this season's babies will come with their complete enclosure, containing all the hides and decor.

Hello!

We're waking up after brumation and getting started with the plans for this season.
There's a little added excitement this year because some of the hatchlings will be participating in a study looking at the effects of diet on growth and behaviour.

The primary pairings have been done over the last couple of weeks, so we should have plenty of updates happening as clutches are produced and we start the loooong wait for pipping.

There's quite a few changes going on in the background this year too, not least of which being a location change (though we're still within Greater Manchester, so the name can stay 😄)
