🚨🐾 FLEAS IN THE SALON? LET’S TALK ABOUT IT! 🐾🚨
Fleas aren’t just a problem for your pet… they can affect the whole salon!

As much as we love pampering your precious pooches, fleas are something we take VERY seriously! 🐶❤️

You might not realise it, but bringing a flea-infested pet into the grooming salon can have a knock-on effect on every other dog booked in that day — and even the salon itself! 😬

🦟 HERE’S WHY IT MATTERS:

🐾 YOUR PET’S COMFORT – Fleas can cause intense itching, skin irritation, allergic reactions and, in heavier infestations, other health problems.

🐾 OTHER CLIENTS’ PETS – Fleas and their eggs can be introduced into the salon environment, potentially exposing other pets that visit later in the day.

🐾 YOUR GROOMER’S SALON – Flea eggs can fall from an infested coat into grooming tables, bedding, carpets and other areas. Flea pupae can also remain hidden in the environment and emerge later, making an infestation difficult to eliminate.

🐾 OTHER APPOINTMENTS – If fleas are discovered during a groom, extra cleaning and disinfection may be needed, and appointments later that day could be delayed, rearranged or cancelled to protect other clients.

🚨 PLEASE CHECK YOUR PET BEFORE THEIR APPOINTMENT!

❤️ Keep up with vet-recommended flea prevention.
❤️ If you suspect your pet has fleas, please let me know BEFORE bringing them into the salon.
❤️ If fleas are discovered during an appointment, I may need to stop the groom or rearrange it until the issue has been appropriately treated.

This isn’t about embarrassing or blaming anyone — fleas can happen to any pet, even the most loved and well-cared-for ones! ❤️🐾 It’s about keeping every furry client safe, comfortable and protected.

Check out Gracie’s new look! This girl is a standard poodle and we decided for this visit to put her in a beautiful Miami trim😍✂️

I took her body nice and short, with those gorgeous fluffy pom-poms on her legs, and of course that poodle topknot and ears. 🐾✨

She is always an angel throughout her grooms, and I think we can all agree she is rocking her new look! 💕👑

This gorgeous girl was back in the salon for a much needed deshed🤩

River is an absolute angel throughout the whole process! And left feeling much lighter after having all her loose fur removed🐾🫧

I on the other hand, was left to clean up her hair that covered the WHOLE salon🙈😆
