The Dapper Dog Spa and Pawtography The Dapper Dog is a salon located in Wragby. We are completely dog focussed and have the dogs’ welfare central to everything we do.

Our groomer is City and Guilds trained and also holds a current canine first aid certificate.

Sometimes grooming is about so much more than making a dog look beautiful. ❤️🐾

Sasha is a very nervous Romanian rescue, and trusting people hasn’t always come easily to her.

Her mum sent me this lovely message after her deshed:

And every single time she somehow sends my grubby little Romanian street dog back looking WHITE again! 😂🤍

That’s what I love about grooming. Every dog is different, and sometimes the most important part of the groom isn’t the finished coat — it’s helping a dog feel safe, understood and comfortable.

🐾 SOME DOGS BECOME PART OF THE DAPPER DOG FAMILY… 🐾

Meet Rolo. ❤️

Rolo has been coming to see me since he was a tiny puppy sausage… and he’s grown into this handsome chap!

He’s still every bit as cheeky as he was back then — and occasionally likes to remind me who’s really in charge. 😂

One of the best things about being a dog groomer is getting to know them over the years. Watching puppies grow, getting to know their little personalities and building that trust with them is so much more than just giving them a haircut. ❤️🐾

Although, in Rolo’s case, the cheeky little sausage definitely keeps me on my toes! 😂

🐾 SHORT-HAIRED DOESN’T MEAN NO GROOMING! 🐾

Not every dog needs a haircut — but they can still enjoy a little Dapper Dog TLC. 🛁✨

A good bath, blow-dry and deshed can make a huge difference, especially when they’re shedding like there’s no tomorrow! 😂

And while we’re pampering them, we can take care of those nails too. 🐾

From Vizslas to Labradors, they can all benefit from a good clean-up.

Just look at Monty! 😍 Our gorgeous Poodle × Pointer cross, looking every inch the dapper lad after his groom. ✂️🐶

His mum’s verdict?
