🎉We would like to offer huge congratulations to RVN Liz who has recently achieved her Advanced Diploma in Physiotherapy, and is now able to use the post nominals Dip.Anim.Phys. She holds Physiotherapy clinics at our Castleford surgery and Brindley Way Hospital. These have a very important positive role for our surgical patients in aiding their recovery and improving mobility. She also helps patients who have Osteoarthritis, muscle injuries and strains, and other orthopaedic and neurological conditions.

She has worked incredibly hard and we are all really proud of her achievement!🎉🎉

World Arthritis Day

Arthritis is a progressive condition and although it is not curable, there are several ways to improve your pet’s comfort and help them to lead a full and active life.

Symptoms such as stiffness, limping, struggling to jump and reluctance to walk can indicate underlying osteoarthritis – a painful condition caused by degeneration and inflammation of the joints.

We have had a Muscovy duck brought in to our Brindley Way Hospital by a concerned member of the public, who was found on Bradford road in Wrenthorpe.

🎉 Congratulations to our RVN Katie who has recently been awarded her British Veterinary Receptionist Association GA Level 3 Certificate in Veterinary Reception Skills. 🎉

The certificate consists of 6 units including communication and customer service skills, animal triage and first aid, and the euthanasia process and bereavement support.

This is a nationally recognised qualification and she is now registered as an Associate Veterinary Receptionist or AVR.

😍 Introducing Reggie and Lily 😍

These two stunning puppies came in to our Pontefract branch for their 2nd vaccines and were good as gold for their appointment!

We advise all puppies who have not recieved their 2nd vaccination to be carried and not placed onto the floor, to protect them whilst they are still vunerable, so Reggie and Lily's owners carried them to and from their appoinment - no mean feat when your pup is a Cane Corso!

We look forward to seeing how big they have grown next time they come in!
