It's hard to believe Koda's yellow jacket says NERVOUS on it. Within minutes of being dropped off, he was out enjoying the garden with Murphy. Play like this helps a dog settle in before their groom, and of course, they get to play afterwards too rather than just sit in a pen waiting!

BRUSHING TUITION - we get lots of dogs in that have been 'brushed.' To correctly brush a dog, you need to use a good quality slicker brush that does not scratch the dog. Brush the dog regularly (preferably daily) and remember to include the legs, belly, under the ears, in the pits and over the tail. UNDER THE ANIMAL WELFARE ACT, GROOMERS SHOULD ONLY WORK ON SMALL MATTED AREAS (APPROXIMATELY THE SIZE OF A 50P) AND FOR A TOTAL OF 15 MINS BEFORE THEY SHOULD CONSIDER SHAVING THE COAT IN ORDER TO PREVENT OVER STRESSING THE DOG
