Because loving your dog is the easy bit.
Understanding them?
That can be bloody hard.
Maybe they bark and lunge and you don't know why.
Maybe they suddenly stop listening.
Maybe they struggle around dogs, people, noises or new places.
Or maybe thereโs nothing particularly โwrongโ at allโฆ you just wish you could understand what theyโre trying to tell you.
We see so many owners blaming themselves.
โAm I doing something wrong?โ
โWhy can everyone else cope with their dog?โ
โWhy does my dog behave like this?โ
And that's exactly why we wanted to create this workshop.
Not to teach you how to make your dog โbehaveโ.
But to help you understand the dog standing in front of you. โค๏ธ
Weโll get underneath the behaviour and talk about stress, emotions, body language, thresholds, trigger stacking, reactions, rewards and all those tiny bits of communication that are so easily missed.
And although reactive dogs are a huge part of our world, Beyond Reacting isn't just for reactive dog owners.
It's for anyone who's ever looked at their dog and thought:
