We’re excited to share that we’re now offering Registered Veterinary Nurse‑led add‑on services during your cat’s stay with us.
In partnership with BTC Pet Co, your cat can receive gentle, welfare‑focused care from a Registered Veterinary Nurse - all while they’re here at the cattery.

Available add‑ons include:
✨ Nail clips
✨ Coat care
✨ Ear cleaning
✨ General health checks including teeth checks

Bernie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in feline handling, ensuring every cat is treated calmly, confidently, and with the utmost care. Your cats will be handled gently and respectfully, helping them stay relaxed and stress‑free.

Keeping our guests hydrated in the heat ☀️🐾

With the continuous warm weather, we’re still taking extra measures to make sure all our cattery guests are comfortable, happy and well hydrated. 💧

For our new arrivals who are still settling in, and for those we’d like to encourage to drink just that little bit more, we’ve been offering these tasty cat soups. 😻🥣 They’re a great way to tempt our guests to take on some extra fluids while also giving them a little treat — especially in this heat!

Please note: 🐾 We only feed Whiskas wet and dry food as part of our standard cattery diet. If your cat normally eats something different, please remember to bring their usual food with them for the duration of their stay.

We do like to keep treats and a few little extras in stock, just in case they’re needed, because we want to make sure every guest has the most comfortable, happy and puurfect stay possible! 🥰🐱

🐾 A little update for all of our wonderful Glenbeets Cattery customers 🐾

Over the past few weeks we’ve received a significant increase in enquiries, with many coming from clients of another local cattery that is sadly closing its doors.

Whilst we’re always grateful for every enquiry, we wanted to let our existing customers know that our diary for the remainder of the year is filling much faster than we would normally expect.

As many of you know, Glenbeets is a small, family-run cattery. We intentionally keep the number of lodges limited so we can give every cat the individual care, attention and affection they deserve. It means we can really get to know each guest and ensure they enjoy a relaxed, stress-free stay—but it also means availability is limited.

If you already know your holiday or travel dates, we’d strongly recommend getting your bookings in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Thank you to all of our loyal customers for continuing to trust us with your cats. Your support means the world to us, and we look forward to welcoming both familiar faces and new guests throughout the year. 🐱❤️

🌞 How we are Keeping Our Cats Cool During the Warm Weather 🌞

With the temperatures risen so high in the UK we wanted to reassure all of our customers that the comfort and wellbeing of our guests remains our top priority.

To help beat the heat, we have several measures in place:

🐾 Our MAIN cattery doors are open throughout the day to allow plenty of fresh air to circulate.

🐾 We have fans on standby should temperatures rise further, although so far we have managed the warmer weather very well without needing them.

🐾 We are providing extra bowls of water throughout the lodges and regularly checking all cats to make sure they are drinking enough and staying comfortable.

🐾 We are monitoring all of our guests closely throughout the day as always.

We are pleased to say that all of the cats currently staying with us are eating and drinking as normal, which is always a great sign that they are happy, relaxed and content.

In fact, while we’re all walking around feeling like little sweat boxes, the cats seem incredibly chilled, comfortable and completely unbothered by it all! 😸

Thank you for trusting us with your feline family members. We’ll continue to keep a close eye on everyone and ensure they stay happy, healthy and cool throughout the warmer days ahead. ❤️

🐾 A little notice for our customers 🐾

We’d just like to let everyone know that we do not have a card machine and currently only accept cash or bank transfer payments.

Unfortunately, card payment providers take a percentage of every transaction, and we would rather avoid those extra costs so that we can continue keeping our prices as affordable as possible, we are doing our best not to increase our boarding prices and appreciate your understanding and support.

We’d also like to remind everyone that our busiest period is fast approaching, and bookings for June through to September are filling up quickly. If you’re planning a holiday or need boarding for your cats during these months, please get in touch as soon as possible to secure your dates.
