🌟 MEET YOUR TUTOR 🌟

Hello, I’m Jess - Puppy School Wakefield’s tutor and dog trainer. I am passionate about helping puppy owners get on the best foot with their new best friends to support a happy and long lasting dog-owner relationship. To run this syllabus I was trained by world renowned behaviourist Gwen Bailey and continue professional development to ensure you receive the most up to date puppy training methods for behaviour and welfare.

I began my animal career working at a vets before opening my own dog walking and puppy training business Tails to Paws. During this time I also worked as an educator at Askham Bryan Wildlife Park and a canine carer at Dogs Trust where I met the amazing Mr Malcolm pictured here. I also completed my degree in BSc Animal Behaviour during this time (1st degree) and then began my training with Puppy School.

Just before beginning classes I started my career as a Guide Dog Trainer, now qualified, and have ran my Puppy School classes for 4 years receiving all positive reviews. I pride myself on being available to support clients verbally for the duration of your puppy’s happy life, recommending other accredited trainers in the area for those requiring 1-1 help in the future.

I am a registered Animal Training Instructor with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council which ensures I continue professional development and follow up to date positive reinforcement methods which allows your puppy to be happy and comfortable in their training and support their bond with their owner.
